Save The Date: Latin GRAMMY, 20 Years Of Excellence
Monday, November 18; 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
On Nov. 20, we will officially re-open our 3rd Floor Galleries to the general public, which feature new state-of-the-art interactives, updated permanent exhibits, and newly expanded galleries dedicated to Latin Music. The inaugural special exhibit—Latin GRAMMY, 20 Years Of Excellence—celebrates the milestone 20th anniversary of the Latin GRAMMY Awards and includes original artwork, personal items, instruments, and more from Latin artists who have been nominated or have won GRAMMY and/or Latin GRAMMY Awards such as Alejandro Saenz, Emilio Estefan, Juanes, Luz Rios, Maná, Shakira, Ricky Martin, and Vicente Fernandez.

Join us on Monday, Nov. 18, from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm, to celebrate the launch of our Latin Music Gallery! The event is free and open to the public and will have a DJ spinning music all night, experiences and takeaways, drinks available for purchase, and more! Please not that entry is granted on a first-come, first-served basis and will be capped once we reach capacity.

The GRAMMY Museum will welcome GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum singer, songwriter, author, and activist Mary Lambert for an intimate conversation and performance, hosted by Scott Goldman. Following her triple-platinum song "Same Love" with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Mary Lambert continued at a prolific pace with the Welcome To The Age of My Body EP, Heart on My Sleeve full-length, and gold-selling single "Secrets," which ascended to #1 on the Billboard Dance Chart. Back with her second full-length album, Grief Creature, Mary showcases her most personal, poetic, and poignant songs to date.

Following the discussion, Island artist Jessie Reyez will perform.

The GRAMMY Museum will welcome acclaimed jazz saxophonist Azar Lawrence for an intimate conversation moderated by Scott Goldman, discussing Lawrence's longtime career playing alongside iconic musicians and artists. Following the conversation, Lawrence will perform live with his band, The Azar Lawrence Experience. Over the course of Azar Lawrence's career, he has performed, composed and/or recorded with such groundbreaking icons as McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, and Earth, Wind & Fire.

The GRAMMY Museum will host a special screening of the documentary film, Blue Note Records: Beyond the Notes, a documentary film about the legendary Blue Note Records, which has been home to such groundbreaking artists as Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, John Coltrane, Robert Glasper, and Norah Jones. Following the screening, moderator Scott Goldman will host a panel discussion with the film's Director Sophie Huber and GRAMMY-nominated Musician/Producer Terrace Martin, who is featured in the film and has worked with artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Herbie Hancock.
