We will be in touch soon to announce the next novena, but before then, we wanted to share some answered prayers from the St. Rita Novena!
Also, in case you missed it, we announced The (online, self-paced) Pray More Lenten Retreat last week. It begins on February 26th -- we hope you'll join us for it! Click here for more.
Answered Prayers from the St. Rita Novena:
"After praying many novenas for a job change, my prayers have been answered. I got the job I had been hoping for for many years. Thank you, God!"
"St. Rita has been a dear spiritual friend of mine for a couple of years now. I have always received graces when I have prayed a novena through her intercession. One of the latest prayers answered was assistance with my grief. I have been grieving a loss and got to a point where I felt stuck and didn’t know how to get back to processing it. On day 8 I felt consoled and comforted by God. I was able to let a lot of it out. This also gave me an increase in hope and faith."
"A year and a half ago I was diagnosed with Breast cancer and lung cancer. I had surgery, chemo and radiation. I went for a check up three months ago and the lung surgeon saw some spots on my lower lung. They were not real sure what it was. I have been praying and praying that the cancer had not returned and then I saw this Novena and have said it. I went back for another exam this week and my lungs are very healthy and my breathing is good. The spots that they saw had decreased and the doctor said that they were probably just an infection. Praise to God!!"
"My family life is stable and has grown in love and tolerance."
"My brother has had a conflict with his in-law family for several years. He could not forgive them. During the novena, I asked St. Rita to pray for their reconciliation. Yesterday, my sister-in-law called me: my brother called her parents & they were able to forgive to each other! Thanks to St. Rita for her intercession!"
"During the novena, I prayed to St. Rita for several intentions. The answer I am most grateful for is that during the novena prayers on a couple of the days, I felt an overwhelming sense that St. Rita loved me and “wanted to help me.” I have never felt the “affection” of a saint as I had during those moments. Thank you, St. Rita of Cascia!"
"For 11 months, I have prayed novena after novena for my daughter to find a job. She and her family have struggled financially since she lost her job last Spring, and it caused her to suffer depression. St. Rita is a powerful saint! She heard my prayers and took them to the Lord. My daughter received a call this morning that she has a job! Just a day after we finished the final prayer! Thank you, St. Rita!"
"My sister has returned to the Church which was one of my novena intentions."
God is good! If you have any answered prayers you would like to share from the St. Rita Novena, you can share those here.
We share these answered prayers with you not only to remind you that our prayers are powerful, but also to give you hope if you haven't had your prayers answered yet or if your prayers have seemed fruitless.
If your prayers have seemingly not been answered, please don’t give up on your faith or on hope.
As St. Rita said, "There is nothing impossible to God."
Our Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and we are praying that He will be with you in every need and every suffering you are enduring.
With confidence in God's generosity and an open heart, let's continue to pray!
God bless you!
