The sunsets can be amazing. I''ve included a picture of one of the sunsets from our beach.
Watching a sunset makes me think about my day. Did I live the day on my terms? Did I make the most of it? Because now it''s over. I don''t get a second chance at this day.
But... tomorrow is a new beginning. A fresh start.
We are half-way through 2020.. I think it's a great time to reflect.
Many on social media are ready for 2020 to be over. But the truth is we still have six months to go. So let''s take stock, and make the most of the remaining months.
How are you doing?
With everything that''s gone on, are you where you hoped you would be?
Or are you like most people, and need a really strong second half to be celebrating come the end of December.
To be honest, that scenario of needing a big finish to make up for a slow first half played out nearly every year for me for many years, (long before Covid appeared on the scene).
I'd experience a disappointing first half, but tell myself that the next six months would be different. I didn't know how exactly, but I was sure it would be.
Ultimately, however, I would end the year having worked my butt off for very little gain.
I was committed, and working hard, but not happy with the overall results. I was sacrificing family time and personal time for a business with lack-luster results.
I was stuck with an all-consuming business/career that wasn't anywhere near what I wanted it to be.
I clearly needed help, but my pride, my ego, and my insecurities told me that I had to do it on my own.
Eventually, after more years than I care to admit, I realized I was tired of trying to push the rock uphill.
I wanted a thriving business AND a fulfilling personal life that would allow me to spend two weeks with my family creating memories at the lake.
I was tired of waiting. I wanted the future now!
So I hired a coach.
An experienced guide that helped me to stop pushing my rock up hill and finally experience the breakthrough that would give me the life that allows me to write to you now, from the lake, with my family, making memories.
