Why "Try Harder" Is a Recipe For Failure

Mason,

When I find that "life" is pulling me away from my plan, I don't try harder. I change the PROCESS.

Here's what I mean:

If you want to cut down on sweets and desserts so you can lose a little weight, don't keep prepackaged deserts in the house.

Now, if you get a wild craving, you'll have to drag yourself to the grocery store to satisfy it.

Or, you only keep raw ingredients in the house. Now, If you get a sweet tooth, you'll have to make a dessert from scratch."

That's easily worth a few pounds, isn't it?

Those are examples of process changes. They are far more effective than self-discipline and willpower. (Like trying to resist that chocolate you love so much. Who do you think you're kidding?)

Notice the difference between "try harder" and Process Change:

Willpower: "I'm going to try to wake up at 5:00 instead of 6:00 from now on."

Process Change: "I'm moving my alarm clock to the bathroom. Now, If want to turn the alarm off, I have to drag myself out of bed. and hey, now that I'm in the bathroom, I might as well brush my teeth."

Willpower: "I'm going to try harder to stop dipping into my savings."

Process Change: "I'm going to disconnect my savings account from my checking account and require a signature to withdraw money."

Yes, you can try harder, but we all have a finite amount of energy and willpower to expend every day. Strategic processes only require the willpower it takes to put them in place.

That's why we're putting together a brand new LIVE virtual training for you called.

How To Focus In a Distracted World.

Even if you're overwhelmed, constantly distracted, and have struggled to stay focused throughout your entire life.

On the LIVE training, we'll walk you through the most effective and reliable systems, strategies, and processes we've discovered for staying focused in a distracted world.

And the best part is that NONE of these strategies require self-discipline or willpower to be effective.

Can you imagine how much less guilt, stress, and frustration you would feel if you could somehow just stay focused and make yourself do the things you don't want to do when you are actually supposed to do them?

Not to mention how much happier and more effective you would be?

The LIVE event will be hosted this Friday, November 20th.

However, enrollment will close at midnight, Thursday, November 19th.

A replay will be made available for the people who enroll.

If staying focused is an issue for you, and you have lost all interest in the "try harder" method for getting things done, you won't want to miss this LIVE training event.
