The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) in partnership with FloraCulture International and headline sponsor Royal FloraHolland announce a Virtual International Conference Recovery from Crisis - the future for Ornamentals. 

 The conference will take place online on 15 September and will be available to watch on any device, anywhere in the world. It will be a very important conference for the horticulture industry with high-level presentations and panel discussions - and being online you can select the time that you want to join.

The special 3D system we are using means all participants will have an interactive avatar which will allow you to talk to other delegates and speakers throughout the day starting from 8am (Central European Summer Time).  

We are hurtling towards the end of 2020, and what a roller coaster it has been for all in the global ornamental flowers and plants sector. After the success of our Recovery from Crisis Conference in September, we are organising more webinars to support the industry before this tumultuous year finishes. This week, it is Preparing for Brexit on 2 and 4 December, and next week IP Protection in the Green Value Chain on 10 December. We will also be Gold Sponsor of the Host City Conference and Exhibition on the 8 and 9 December, telling all the delegates about the benefits of hosting a World Horticultural Exhibition. In our December newsletter, we are announcing the publication of the 68th edition of the International Statistics Flowers & Plants.

Nonetheless, we look forward with hope to life after this crisis. During this unprecedented period, we have created an information and resource centre. 

We cannot ignore the harsh way this pandemic is affecting our industry. So, we have created documents to help horticultural members to argue the specific challenges of our sector with governments and provided materials that demonstrate the scientific facts on why plants, flowers and gardening can help people in isolation at home. We are uploading new items regularly and sharing them on social media to pursue our mission as the "World's Champion for the Power of Plants".

The act of 'returning to normal' is a strong motivator for the world right now. Our newsletter summarises all that we have done and will continue to do to support the industry. 

'Recovery from Crisis - the future for Ornamentals' is the title of our major online conference happening in a 3D virtual world on 15 September. This solution makes it easy for everyone, wherever in the world to attend, and avoids the ever-present threat from Coronavirus.

Before then, on 30 June, growers can join a free webinar concentrating on moving a business forward past the impacts brought on by Covid-19.
