THE EVERGREEN PROJECT HAS YOU COVERED!

• The Program Manual which covers the entire program from beginning to end.
•  "When the Lord is My Shepherd", the parish reading book. This is the at-home daily reading we are proposing for the members of your church during the actual four-week stewardship teaching program.
• "The Rector and Vestry". This will help us consider other parish issues in the year to come. (More on this later in the year.)

• Pray! The pandemic has brought untold disruption in every congregation. We need supernatural insight and courage!
• Go to TheEvergreenProject.org and bookmark that site. By the end of August, we will have all five webinars available for you to view.
• After you purchase the program, read the first few chapters in the manual, and note that the first step in the program is to set up the specific calendar dates for your church to begin this program.
• Count the families in your church or on your mailing lists and order that many copies of "When the Lord is My Shepherd" daily reading book. We will ship those out to you as soon as possible.

The Evergreen Project is ready to serve congregations of every size and at any stage. One of the main draws of a program like this at a time like this is the 'do it together' aspect of how it is implemented. Consider that every single church in the Anglican Church in North America has been disrupted by the COVID crisis. Congregations, who are used to weekly gathering, have been 'meeting' (if you can call it that) in a virtual way for almost seven months!  What have we missed that we do together? What opportunities for worship, fellowship, support, prayer, study, and praise have we missed? Well, how about Lent!  And Holy Week! And Easter! And Pentecost! What about Vacation Bible School and Summer Camps. What about the social aspects of our group life, bible studies, and task-centered groups.

In other words, we have not even shared so much as ONE CUP OF COFFEE TOGETHER with fellow members.

The Evergreen Project has written a program that will help your church actually DO SOMETHING together. As a congregation, you will be able to read a book called "When the Lord is My Shepherd". There are 23 short readings about the 23rd Psalm. There are four sermons to preach during the program. There are letters to write. There are prayers to pray. And this experience will center around how the church can respond to the challenges of our day in a spirit of generosity and love.

The Rector and the Vestry will want to invest in this program and download its resources from our website. Then you will be able to order the daily reader for your church members. There are four webinars included. There are many other resources for you and your church to use.

Many churches in the Anglican Church in North America are doing this program. Over three dozen subscribed in the first two weeks. They are making their plans to implement this year's stewardship teaching and preaching program.

Join Fellow Anglicans at the Getty Music Worship Conference: Sing! Global 2020, Aug. 30- Sept 2

Anglicans For Life (AFL) is a global Anglican ministry dedicated to ending abortion and euthanasia through ministry, education, pastoral care, and biblical advocacy in partnership with churches in the Anglican Communion. 

This year, the ministry will livestream its annual Summit on January 16th and 23rd, 11am - 3pm EST. SUMMIT 2021 features outstanding keynote speakers and workshop leaders, equipping attendees with life-affirming teaching and ministry inspiration. 

• January 16th features keynote presentations, as well as discussion time for those participating in watch parties and chat rooms for those watching as individuals. Attendees will be able to participate in conversations about practical action steps and plans for ongoing ministry and education in the local community.

• January 23rd offers topical workshop tracks, allowing participants to dig deeper into specific life issues that interest them. 

"Concerns about Covid-19 prompted AFL's decision to take Summit 2021 virtual," explains AFL President Georgette Forney. "The pandemic is generating real concern about the value of life, and our message is needed now more than ever. There is a silver lining, however.  In 2021, instead of only 125 people attending the Summit and learning about life, death, abortion, and euthanasia, everyone in churches coast-to-coast can be equipped to uphold the Sanctity of Life!
