Dear ArtsReady Premium Member,
Thank you for
your commitment to readiness within your organization, through your ArtsReady Premium
Membership.
We have exciting news! The ArtsReady online
planning tool is being upgraded to make it more user-friendly, more relevant,
and to provide
you with more hands-on resources.
ArtsReady 2.0 is
rolling out in
two phases. On September 1, the start of National Preparedness Month, the free Pocket
Response Resource ("PRR")
was released. This free document prompts
arts organizations
to collect critical contact information on one side, and critical action steps such as evacuation, crisis communications, situational assessment, and prioritizing assets to be protected or salvaged on the other. It neatly folds down into a credit card-sized
document piece for all staff, crew and volunteers to carry on their person - or have available to view on a device - so they have immediate access to information they'll need in the first minutes and hours
of any type of emergency. Its
design serves organizations with performing, visual, media and literary arts
programming, and exhibits
and collections. You can download
the free Pocket Response Resource and its instructions here.
Phase
II, the robust
and updated
online planning tool, launches in
early summer 2021.
We listened to you and ArtsReady 2.0 will
be simpler to
navigate, have easier
ways for
multiple team members participate, and generate hard-copy resources and templates for you to customize for your organization.
As
part of
this transition, we'll be
closing the current ArtsReady database. As
a Premium User, you have until December 18,
2020 to
download any of your existing data from
your account. The
amount of data collected in the current tool is minimal, so it should take you very little time to review your account and see if any of it is still current, and is marial you want to
retain. Instructions
to download your data is at the end of this message.
Per ArtsReady policy, for
your privacy and security, South
Arts will NOT retain, archive or
transfer any
user's information
other than your contact
data ("permanent users' list"). When
the ArtsReady 2.0
platform launches in early summer 2021,
you will receive advance notification, and the opportunity to request a fee waiver for the modest subscription price for your first year.
If you
have any questions, please let me know.Thank
you again, and be sure to download
the free Pocket Response Resource and its instructions here.
