Thank you for your interest in hosting a private event at B&G Oysters! I'd love to get some more details from you in regards to what you are looking for, but for now I've included some general information about hosting an event with us at B&G. 

B&G Oysters is Chef Barbara Lynch's ode to the classic New England seafood shack, offering up fresh regional classics and a wine list curated by Cat Silirie, featuring a stellar list of crisp, mineral driven whites and small grower champagnes. The dining room can be utilized as either a reception style event or a sit down dinner. Please keep in mind, we are located in the historic Sound End and the building is not handicapped accessible. The dining room can be situated in a few ways. With all the furniture cleared, you could host a reception style event with passed hors d'oeuvres and stationary displays for up to 60 guests. For a seated event, the dining room can hold 32 guests at separate tables, or up to 43 guests including bar seating. Weather permitting, we can use our outdoor patio space as well, which would include an additional 30 seats or additional space for your reception.

We have two options for private event buyouts, and utilize food and beverage minimums for booking. You can reserve a full restaurant buyout, which includes both the indoor dining room and patio, or you can reserve a buyout of just the patio space. The food and beverage minimums vary based on meal period (lunch/dinner), time of year, and day of the week, and there are additional fees including 20% gratuity, 7% admin fee, 7% MA meals tax, and a $500 site fee (not subject to additional fees or taxes). Once we've connected on a date(s) you may be interested in, I would be happy to provide you with additional information on the food and beverage minimum.
