BandVista has hundreds of designs for you to use, so if your first selection was not a hit or if you’d like to try others on for size, you can with a few clicks of the mouse. Here’s how:

You can always change designs at any point. Once in your dashboard, click Design from the top navigation, and then select "Change Theme". Select the design you like and confirm you would like to switch. Don’t worry, you can repeat this step as often as you like without fear of losing your work.

If a design is not an exact fit, consider letting us help!  Call or emails us and we’ll work with you to customize any design. ..free of charge.

Once in your interface, scroll down from the Site Menu at the top left hand corner, select Audio File Manager under File Library.  Select Upload file from this page to add your MP3s.  Feel free to customize your player options on the Player Settings page if needed.

Once in place, you will notice two links, the ability to Add Image and View/Edit Galleries. Both options will allow you to add or edit your gallery.

Do you have show dates and other events that fans should know about?  Most musicians do and that’s why our calendar feature is so popular.  If you have events to list but haven’t done so yet, consider taking  a minute to add the calendar to your website.

You can crerate new events any time. Once in your layout editor, drag the Calendar feature from the left and drop it into place where you would like it to show on your site. 

Your calendar can be shown in Calandar View or Listing View, which you can edit from your layou editor. Try both to see what works best for your site. You can click View/Edit Calendar to add and edit show dates and other events you have.

Fans want to keep up with you, and the blog feature is the perfect way to share with them.  Setting up a blog is easy and allows you to automatically post to social networks like facebook and twitter.

Create your blog any other time following these instructions.

Once in your layout editor, drag the Blog feature from the left and drop it into place where you would like it to show on your site. 

Now that the blog feature is placed, you can use the drop down to select default view: title only, title and excerpt or the title with full content. Also select how many you want displayed at a time. 

Select the View/Edit Blogs button to start your first blog post! Here you can also edit posts or edit settings for this feature.

Your site is great but how will fans know when you add new events, post blogs or have any other news you want to share?  The newsletter feature is the answer.  Have your fans sign up to receive newsletters so they can be alerted the minute you make a change.

Manage the newsletter feature here, after you login: https://www.bandvista.com/usercp/site/newsletter/. 

Here you can add newsletter contacts, and create newsletters, selecing from a number of options. Auto send your last blog, your latest events calendar or consider sharing your music and merch for sale in your store. 

On your site, place the sign up form on the homepage of your site. If you have an open position, click to add the newsletter feature to it. Once done, your fans will be able to join. By the way, you can add this feature to any other page on your site if you feel it should be elsewhere.

This feature is unlocked for paid members, but due to security reasons, is limited during free tial mode.

Select the page or pages where you want social links to go.  Once you are managing the page, click an open spot where it says WidgetAdd the social icons feature from the list.  Once this feature has been added you can select which networks to include on your site.  Make sure to list the full url for your profiles.

From professional production to fan phone videos, chances are videos of your performance are on YouTube or some other video hosting network.  If that is the case, you can add those videos to your website using the HTML Code feature.   

To get started, login to layout editor: https://www.bandvista.com/usercp/site/pages/layout/

Once in your layout editor, drag the Video feature from the left and drop it into place where you would like it to show on your site.

Now that this feature is placed, simply paste your YouTube video url in the marked field.

You can click on the Home link in your admin area to edit this page. You can fill in some basic information about you or your band. Try to make it interesting and leave the reader wanting to know more about what you are doing. To edit the text portion on this page, click on any of the Text boxes for the page. You can also add more features if you wish.

--Pictures.--

Everyone loves pictures. It is one of the most important things for your site. If you go to the gallery page, you can create a gallery and upload images to your gallery. They will automatically be thumbnailed and added to your page. You can also add different header images to your pages by using the Add New Header Image on the left menu. If you need any help, please let us know.

--Audio.--

Obviously on a musician/band web page, the people will want to HEAR you. Upload MP3s by clicking on the Site Audio Player link in the menu. These audio uploads will play on your site while the user browses your different pages.
