Performance metrics
We are proud to announce that the BJBMS''s Impact Factor and CiteScore have increased over the last year.
The new Journal Impact Factor (2019) for BJBMS is 2.05. 
The increase in impact factor reflects the exacting standards met by the research the journal publishes. 
Our new CiteScore (2019) is 3.2.
CiteScore value is based on the number of citations to articles published by a journal over four years, divided by the number of the articles published in those same four years - and is another metric of journal quality.

BJBMS published its very first Video Article: Surgical anatomy of microsurgical 3-level anterior cervical discectomy and fusion C4-C7
