Update to business restrictions
Premier Steven Marshall has announced the acceleration of some recovery measures for South Australia. As of last week:
- Up to 300 people may gather at a venue, with a maximum of 75 people per distinct room or area (subject to the 1 person per 4 square metre rule).
- Indoor fitness classes may accommodate up to 20 people in spaces where a 1 person per 7 square metre guideline can be respected.
Step Three of business restrictions lifting will commence Monday, 29 June. This stage will usher in a ''principle-based approach'', with advice on density requirements and venue limits to be released soon.
For more information on business restrictions in South Australia, see the Roadmap to Recovery website.

State borders open to some states
South Australia has eased border restrictions to allow visitors from Queensland, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Tasmania to enter the state without a quarantine requirement.
The further easing of restrictions for the remaining jurisdictions scheduled for 20 July will depend on health advice at the time. All international arrivals, whether returning Australians or visitors, will still be required to undergo the 14 day mandatory quarantine.

Complete a COVID-Safe Plan
A reminder that it is mandatory for all businesses who were directed to close as a result of COVID-19 business restrictions to complete a COVID-Safe Plan before reopening.
You may need to revise this plan as restrictions ease over the coming weeks, to reflect changes in the number of patrons allowed.
You may also wish to complete a COVID-Safe Plan even if it is not mandatory for your business to do so, to ensure you''re acting in a safe and responsible manner.
For more information, visit Create a COVID-Safe Plan.

Considering a longterm shift to working from home?
If your workforce has successfully transitioned to the home office during the COVID-19 pandemic, perhaps you''re considering making the arrangement permanent.
However, there are both pros and cons to the remote-working environment, with detractors quick to point out a decrease in collaboration and ''serendipitous contact''.
Check out this article from the University of South Australia on the history and future of telecommuting, or the Conversation''s series on working from home.
