Valentine's Day Sweetheart Smooth Jazz Concert

Acclaimed pianist, composer and humanitarian Keiko Matsui’s transcendent and haunting melodies have long sought to build bridges. Her sonic cultural exchange has reached the hearts and minds of fans throughout the world is coming to Alaska. A master storyteller, Matsui crafts exquisite compositions replete with lush harmonies and global rhythms to create timeless musical anthems.

Internationally known as an elite Jazz/R&B/Pop saxophonist, songwriter, producer, and performer, saxophonist, composer, producer, and vocalist, Eric Darius likes to play by his own rules. He’s a visionary who has learned to listen to his own inner voice. Steeped in tradition and grounded in the lessons learned from his mentors, Darius is not afraid to push himself and his art forward. His performance at the Catalina Island JAZZTRAX Festival earned him the JAZZTRAX Best Live Performance of the Year and the SMOOTH JAZZ NEWS Debut Artist of the Year awards.

Although we won't see a return to "normal" for several months into the New Year, we look forward to sharing the experiences we all love in NEW WAYS!

BRINGING THE ARTS TO YOU!

Livestream technology - thanks to a generous gift from ConocoPhillips Alaska, the PAC has acquired livestream technology for events. We will be testing equipment and training professionals during the coming months so we can share content in new formats to ensure we continue to stay connected and inspired

Join us for TubaChristmas 2020 - a FREE, virtual Community Event!

This year we are bringing TubaChristmas to the comfort and safety of your own home. Watch anytime when it is convenient for you. Grab some hot chocolate, find a cozy seat and enjoy. If you're a musician, feel free to play along!

A SAFER RETURN

We have been using this time to create plans for a safe return for audiences, artists, ushers and staff.

A few recent updates:

• Restrooms are being upgraded with touchless technology and hand sanitation stations will be available in all areas and levels of the lobbies.
• Wayfinding signage will help with new processes for entering and exiting the building and theatres.
• Increased cleaning protocols are being supported by new disinfecting technologies and supplies.
• House Managers and Ushers will be trained in several new procedures to keep all our patrons safe and informed.
