Dear Fans,
We still need your help! We have asked before, and because of your support, we are now close to getting the Save Our Stages Act included in the legislation being finalized this week in the US Senate. Your voice during this final stretch is CRITICAL!
Congress is rushing to complete its next relief bill, and independent venues must be included. This bill will ensure that our business survives, and it will allow the survival of all your favorite independent venues, festivals, and shows across the nation.
There's no takeout or curbside version of concerts. We need the SOS Act to ensure we'll still be around to fully reopen when live shows can return.
We are so grateful to have the support of Senator Thom Tillis (NC) on the Save Our Stages Act already. Said Tillis about our effort, "Live event venues are an important part of communities across America that bring people together and support local artists. The COVID-19 pandemic is an unprecedented crisis that has placed many of these venues in significant jeopardy for the foreseeable future, and Congress must work to give them support. As live event venues were some of the first businesses impacted by COVID-19, and will likely be among the last to fully return to normal, I'm proud to support this legislation so we can save our stages."
With the advocacy of congressional members like Senator Tillis, we can all look forward to more amazing shows and live music experiences when it is safe again. Now, we need to get loud so we can secure the votes of the rest of our NC and SC Senators: Sen. Burr (NC), Scott (SC), and Graham (SC).
Visit www.saveourstages.com and enter your information to generate a letter to these Senators and your other state reps, based on your zipcode. This tells them you want them to save live music and small business like ours. This is not a petition, but generates a unique email letter from you each time, so don''t worry if you''ve done it before. You can do it again for this new Act. We need you now more than ever.
Thank you.
