Texas Show Registrations Tracking 25% Ahead | Register to Start Using Networking Portal

Registrations are tracking 25% ahead for the 2nd edition of Specialty & Custom Chemicals America, February 10-13, in Fort Worth, TX. The preliminary 2020 Texas show Attendee List and Networking Portal can be viewed at the second and third links below in red.

If you are not yet registered, please use the first link below. Exhibitor staff and attendees pay the same flat badge rate of $430 through January 31 ($455 after). In addition to the typical business value offered by the exhibits and conference program, our Chemicals America event model is based upon reinvesting the registration fees into additional networking opportunities around catered breakfasts, lunches, and open bar & hors d'oeuvres receptions.

The host Omni Fort Worth Hotel room block rate of $225.00 per night can be reserved now using the 'Hotels & Travel' link below. We will add additional blocks of rooms at nearby hotels if needed.

The Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) airport is a relatively easy 30-minute commute and offers 1,850 flights daily to 200+ nonstop US and international cities. Dallas Love Field (DAL) adds a second airport option and is Southwest Airlines' headquarters, offering an additional 60+ daily non-stop destinations.

For Charleston 2020 exhibitors, we have processed the 2019 renewal registrations and filled the remaining spaces from the exhibit waiting list. We did not have as many spaces as usual open up since last September's event was cancelled, but there are 15 new exhibiting companies registered for the July 2020 show. The 2020 exhibitor directory and floor plan can be viewed at the 2nd link below.

Charleston 2020 attendee registration is now open at the first link below. The early rate of $395 will be good through May 1st of next year.

Hotel room blocks for the host Belmond Charleston Place, as well as the Marriott Renaissance & Courtyard, are now open as well (3rd link below).

Fort Worth Show - April 14 - 16, 2021

• Now under new SOCMA ownership, the 3rd edition of the Specialty & Custom Chemicals Show is has been moved from February to next April 14-16 - to once again provide a venue for the specialty chemical industry to reconnect with colleagues in Fort Worth, TX.
   
• With these new dates, we hope you will be able to join us as there is great optimism surrounding two vaccines that are bringing renewed hope for 2021. The SOCMA team and I remain committed to offering a successful and safe in-person event experience.

Charleston Show - June 29 - July 1, 2021

• Hotel Room Blocks:  For Specialty & Agro Chemicals America, we are waiting for more clarity on the pandemic subsiding before committing to an exact level of sleeping rooms with the host Belmond Charleston Place Hotel.  We will alert you when the show room blocks are ready, starting with registered 2021 exhibitors and attendees.
   
• Charleston Back-Up Plan:  Alternate dates in the first week of September are on hold in case the June dates are not feasible.  This is the same timing that the show has historically been held.  Hurricane season and a preferred early-summer timing for the agrochemical market are still the driving criteria to keep the show in late June if possible.
   
• An enhanced Charleston Online Networking Portal is open now (last link below). The portal now features a combined attendee list of current 2021 registrants, as well as previous 2019 show registrants. This expanded audience enables a greater number of recent Charleston show participants to connect with each other electronically until we are able to meet again in person.

• Exhibit Space Wait List: Specialty & Agro Chemicals America still has a significant waiting list for exhibit space. We only had a handful of openings since the July 2020 show was rescheduled, and will be filling those spots at the beginning of 2021 (see exhibition directory & floor plan link below).  You can reply to this email and request to be added to this list or to double check your company''s spot on the current wait list.

Charleston Show Still Owned & Operated by Chemicals America

• This sale only applies to the February show taking place in Fort Worth, TX. Our Chemicals America team and I will continue to own and operate Specialty & Agro Chemicals America, now scheduled for June 29 - July 1, 2021 back in Charleston, SC.
   
• The sale of the Ft. Worth event was not driven by the pandemic. SOCMA and I have been discussing this transfer of ownership since partnering together on the first Texas trade show back in February of 2019. The sale was planned to happen right after this year's show, but the Covid-19 developments delayed our finalizing the transaction until recently.
   
• As part of the transaction, SOCMA has contracted back with Chemicals America to help manage the Texas show through the 2021 event, and will also continue utilizing the same key service vendors for Ft. Worth.

Fort Worth 2021 Show Updates & Registration Open

Charleston Show Scheduled for June 2021

• Hotel room blocks will be available later this year.  We are currently working on the 2021 group room contract with the Belmond Charleston Place and the usual alternate hotel options, and will keep you posted when the room block is ready.
   
• Revised email confirmations reflecting the new 2021 dates for each Charleston exhibit space and individual badge registration will be sent from our ExpoTrac system within the next week, so you can update your records.
   
• Specialty & Agro Chemicals America still has a significant waiting list for exhibit space. We have only had a handful of openings since the July 2020 show was rescheduled, and will be filling those spots once we confirm the final floor plan with the hotel later this fall (see exhibition directory & floor plan at 2nd link below).
   
• An enhanced Charleston Online Networking Portal has been launched (last link below). The portal now features a combined attendee list of current 2021 registrants, as well as previous 2019 show registrants. This expanded audience enables a greater number of recent Charleston show participants to connect with each other electronically between now and the rescheduled event.
