Park Operations Update
As always, everyone’s health and safety is our greatest concern. We will continue to limit Park capacity in order to emphasize safe social distancing. On crowded days, we may temporarily have to close the front gate until parking space is available. Masks are required in all buildings and any areas where safe social distancing cannot be maintained.
• The Park is open seven days a week; the Ticket Plaza will be open from 8:30am – 5:30pm. The gates close at 7pm.
• Since the top parking lot is still closed due to construction, all guests will be required to park in the Meadows area (just past the Ticket Plaza). Due to safety reasons, guests are not allowed to walk on the Park road. They must drive up the mountain to the Ticket Plaza.
• While we are still encouraging guests to hike up the mountain from the Meadows, we do offer shuttle service up to the top parking lot for those who are unable to hike. Face masks are required on all shuttles. Masks are available for purchase at a minimal cost at the Ticket Plaza and in our gift shops. To help with social distancing, shuttles will run at limited capacity which may result in longer wait times. If you plan to ride the shuttle, plan your day accordingly.
• The elevator will take guests up who came together in the same vehicle (limit 8 per trip). Masks are required. To prevent long lines in the Sky Lounge gift shop, the elevator ride down is reserved for guests with disabilities. Guests who are capable should take the scenic Outcroppings trail down to the top lot.
