FIVE TIPS TO KEEP YOUR DOG SAFE THIS WINTER

Doggies it's cold outside! With temperatures dropping and storms a blowing, we need to ensure our little friends are wrapped up.

It is not just cold we have to look out for, there are several factors this season that can cause trouble for dogs.

PAWS UP TO WELCOME OUR NEW APPRENTICE

We would like you all to welcome our new apprentice Liam Burdoch. He is 17-years-old and just finished his GCSE's. 

Liam is joining our team on a Level 2 apprenticeship in Performing Manufacturing Operations. 

We are really pleased he is part of the Cobbydog team.

VEGANUARY RECIPE: PUMPKIN, BANANA & OAT TREATS

While many humans have been taking part in Veganuary this month, our canine companions can also join in on the fun.

We were browsing the world wide web to find a vegan treat recipe and came across this simple three-ingredient treat from the Loose Leaf Vegan blog. 

You can apparently get a dozen from one batch and make them into any shape you like. 

Ingredients
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
2 very ripe bananas
3 1/4 cups of unbaked oats

Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180° (fan assisted 160°) and lightly grease a baking sheet

2. In a food processor, blend oats to a fine powder then scoop out a little bit to flour a kneading surface on your counter.

3. In a large bowl, mash bananas together with pumpkin until a paste forms. Pour in the remaining oat flour and stir.

4. Move your dough onto the oat-floured surface and knead until all of the flour is incorporated. Roll out your dough till it is about 1/4 inch thick and cut out treats in whatever shape you like. Repeat as needed until you have used up all of the dough.

5. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes then allow them to fully cool before feeding them to your dog.

HELLO EUROPE: WE DELIVER

Bonjour! I mean woof. No, I mean hello!

Sorry about that but we have been brushing up on our language skills to keep up communication with our new European customers.

Due to demand, we have been posting out to countries in mainland Europe. Most recently, we sent dog food to France at an additional price of £13.

We always love hearing from customers, especially when they send us their cute doggos. 

We recently received some lovely photos from Natasha Swan of Effie and Jasper with their favourite food.

Natasha said: "We first tried Cobbydog a few months ago when looking into alternatives to raw, and despite trying other samples of foods since then, we keep coming back to it as a firm favourite.

SPREADING THE NEWS IN MALTA

We would like to thank Annette for helping us distribute Cobbydog to lots of pet shops across Malta.

We sent her a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of prosecco to her in Malta to thank her for helping us spread the word of Cobbydog overseas.

As well as the UK, we are also able to distribute to mainland Europe.

FINDING GOOD KENNELS

We all don''t like it, but sometimes we have to leave our humans to go on holiday.

STOCK UP NOW: PRICE INCREASE ON 6TH JULY

Unfortunately due to recent events, the cost of the raw materials that make our dog food healthy, nutritious and delicious has risen.

We have therefore had to make the tough decision to increase our prices due to this inflation from suppliers.

The price increase will come into effect on 6th July.

We have decided to announce this as early as possible to give our loyal customers the chance to stock up before our prices change.

If you are running a bit low, please visit our shop to stock up on your dog''s favourite food.

We love it when people tell us about how they use our Cold Pressed dog food for treats.

A lot of people have told us but we are yet to see any tricks!

We feel this is unacceptable so we want you to show us what your dog can do.
