Support our feeding program in 2020 by joining us for Party With The Pets. Help us raise funds to feed an average of 250+ animals per day by enjoying drinks and lite fare, take a tour of our facilities and mingle with the supporters, volunteers, staff and community members who make the lifesaving work at Columbus Humane possible all year long. Cocktails with Columbus Humane! 

Please join us in partnership with Endeavor Brewing and Spirits for a furry friendly, virtual happy hour on Monday, June 22 from 6P - 7P EST! Endeavor is excited to launch their new line of spirits and in celebration is hosting an online, interactive cocktail making class - with Vodka! As a pet friendly brewery, Endeavor supports the mission of Columbus Humane and all the animals, so $25 of each registration will be donated back to the organization. Join us in the comfort of your home, enjoy making a few different cocktails and learn about the great things Columbus Humane is doing for our community like the food distribution program from CEO Rachel Finney!

$25 Registration: I have or will have everything needed for the cocktail making class at home. No pickup required.

$50 Registration: Skip the mixing! I'd like the drinks premade so I can sit back and enjoy the event. Pickup required.

$75 Registration: Give me the goods! I'd like the full package of items separated to participate in the cocktail making class. Great Father's Day idea! Pickup required.

Registration will close at end of business on Friday, June 19 th . You can pick up your products at Endeavor Brewing and Spirits (909 W Fifth Avenue, Columbus, OH 43212) daily after 4:00 PM beginning Monday, June 15 th through Friday, June 19th.

JOIN US FOR A SELF-GUIDED 5K 

The Columbus Humane 14th Annual Defend Your Friend 5K has gone virtual! In keeping with safe, socially distanced practices, this year's event will be considered "on your own".

Join fellow participants to complete your 5K over the course of a weekend, Friday, October 23rd - Sunday, October 25th, giving each registrant the opportunity to complete the run/walk at your own pace and on your own schedule.

Here is a map of popular 5K routes around the city of Columbus and surrounding neighborhoods, or if you prefer a route you frequent, all are welcome! You can participate solo, with your pet, or in a small, socially distanced group.

No matter your run/walk preferences, please remember to snap photos and videos while out in the community so we can see and share how your showcasing Columbus Humane! Tag @ColumbusHumane and use the hashtag #DYF5K2020 on your Facebook and Instagram posts so we can acknowledge you!

Columbus Humane nearly doubled the $25,000 goal in 2019  - help us reach $50,000 in 2020 by setting up an individual or team fundraising page! Registration will remain open through October 25th. Registration packet pickup will be located at Columbus Humane beginning October 20th - October 22nd. If you register any time between October 23rd - October 25th, we will arrange for registration packet pickup after the event. We''re all spending more time at home than ever before, so let''s document this time in our history with a safe-distance family "Porchrait"! Whether your family photo session was cancelled this year or you''ve had extra time to spruce up your landscaping, bring the kids and pets outdoors for a professional portrait on your front porch.  

A professional photographer from Columbus Humane will travel to your house and photograph your family, pets encouraged to join, on your front porch from a safe and socially-distanced space. Travel is restricted to Franklin County. Every order includes a digital, high resolution JPEG file and a Columbus Humane picture frame. 

The deadline to secure your "Porchrait" is Friday, July 31st, however we anticipate appointments will fill up quickly. During the confirmation process you will be able to schedule the day and time of your "Porchrait". To reschedule or cancel your session, please call us at 614-777-7387 ext. 242 or email us at bwilliams@columbushumane.org. Porchraits will be taken the last week of July and in month of August. 

All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the life-saving work of Columbus Humane. Since 1883, our mission is to fight animal cruelty, help animals in need and advocate for their well-being.

You have the option to name an adoptable dog, cat, rabbit, or we can surprise you. Columbus Humane served more than 45 species of animals in 2019, so there are plenty of opportunities to give the perfect name to the perfect adoptable pet.

Give this unique gift to yourself or send it to a loved one this holiday season. Once you''ve made a tribute gift of $50 or more, we''ll send a confirmation email with a link to Name A Pet. At that time, you can name a pet yourself or choose to forward the link on as a gift.
