| We need your help! |
We have some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that the Critique Circle website will need to be completely rewritten in order to survive. The good news is that we can do it, with your help!
We are asking for your help in the form of a one time donation to make this happen.
Please use this link if you can contribute. Read the blogs below for some information about the rewrite.
Thank you very much. Together we will see CC grow far into the future.

Apr 07, 2020 Queue switch-over time changed During the server move CC''s clock was set to UTC instead of PST and as a consequence queues will switch over to a new period 7 hours earlier than previously. At midnight UTC on Tuesday evening (Tuesday 5pm PST) the next round of stories will come up for review.
This means that if you live in the US and are used to writing crits on Tuesday evening just before the switch you will need to adjust.
If you do submit a late crit, that''s no problem like always. Just send a note to the moderators and we will add the credits. To make things easier there is now a link on the crit receipt page to get full credit for a late crit. Apr 05, 2020 Email sending has been fixed Emails should now work as expected. Mar 29, 2020 We need your help As you may have heard CC will need to go through a major rewrite in order to survive.
We are asking for your help in the form of a one-time donation. Please go here if you can contribute. Mar 20, 2020 Tools and features removed As the first phase of rewriting CC the following tools and features are in the process of being removed: Paragraph-a-day Word of the day Grammar rules Bookmarks Quicktext Saved data (from grammar etc) Monthly progress Template crits Reminders Links page Hangman and word morph games Spell check Stats page
Other features will be removed as time progresses and we make our way towards a slimmer, easier to migrate Critique circle. Please let us know if you encounter any issues.
