Hi Abigail?
We hope you''re safe and well.
Since the recent government announcement regarding large-scale events, we've been in discussions with the Brighton Hilton about what would be possible in November.?
Regrettably, we've come to the decision that due to the scale of Develop:Brighton it would be impossible to safely hold a physical event that would incorporate the conference, expo, Develop:Star Awards and the numerous networking and social events which take place during the week.?
It's been a really tough decision to take, but the safety of our 3000 attendees remains our priority.?
So this year, between 2-4 November, Develop:Brighton Digital will take place featuring a host of outstanding speakers from the development world, and on Wednesday 4?November we will once again salute the brightest and best during the Develop:Star Awards which will also be digital.
In September more details will be released about the speakers and their topics, but for now please get the dates in your diary for what will be a lively three days discussing, sharing and celebrating our brilliant creative industry.
Naturally we look forward to being back in Brighton next year 13 - 15 July 2021, but in the meantime stay safe and look out for more info on Develop:Brighton Digital coming soon.

Hi Abigail?
Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 / Coronavirus crisis we have been receiving enquiries about the status of this year's Develop:Brighton.
?
The health and safety of our visitors is paramount and therefore we are monitoring the situation closely, taking advice from Public Health England to ensure we do what is in everybody's best interests.
?
As Develop:Brighton 2020 is taking place in July we are working towards holding the event as planned. However, we are evaluating this situation on a daily basis and will continue to do so over the coming weeks.
?
In the event that we do have to cancel Develop:Brighton then we will let the community know as soon as possible and offer all delegates a refund on their passes.
Thank you for your patience.

Hi Abigail?
I hope you're staying safe and keeping well in these uncertain times.
In light of the current COVID 19 global pandemic, Develop:Brighton will now take place from Monday 2 to Wednesday 4 November 2020 this year. The Develop:Star Awards will now take place on the evening of Tuesday 3 November too. Both events will take place at the Hilton Brighton Metropole and will follow the same format the community knows and loves.
?
We're obviously disappointed to have had to make this decision, but given the current uncertainty and difficulties facing us all, it seems like the right thing to do.
?
Bethesda Game Studios' Todd Howard will still deliver this year's headline keynote and receive the Develop Star Award in recognition of his accomplishments and contributions to the industry.
Please Note: If you've already registered your pass will automatically be transferred to the new dates so you don't need to do anything. However, if you have any questions regarding your registration please don't hesitate to contact me.
We look forward to welcoming you to Brighton in November,?and in the meantime we wish you all the best in these difficult times.
