Dear William
As you will now be aware, some of DG-GT's activities have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Further details are provided below, and we will continue to update you on the status of these activities as and when we have more information. Any changes or updates will be communicated as soon as possible via our website, mailing list and social media. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this uncertain time.
As a society, we wish to extend our thoughts and very best wishes to all of our members, supporters and community, including many who are re-focussing their efforts to contribute to the fight against COVID-19. We look forward to seeing you all at our events in the near future.
Kind regards,
Gaëlle Jamar

EVENTS
Annual Meeting Status Update
We are hoping to postpone the DG-GT Symposium to the beginning of 2021 and we are very keen to have it at the Herrenhausen Palace in Hannover in the exact same format. We are currently liaising with the Volkswagen Foundation to confirm venue availability and to make alternative arrangements. We will of course keep you informed.

COVID-19 Information
- Human Gene Therapy: Our journal, Human Gene Therapy, now has a Coronavirus web page dedicated to the virus research including some very interesting articles. VIEW HERE.
- Vaccine Clinical Trial: Our long term sponsor BioNTech has partnered with Pfizer to announce regulatory approval from German authority Paul-Ehrlich-Institut to commence first clinical trial of COVID-19 vaccine candidates. See more information in their press release.
Who's Who in Gene & Cell Therapy
DG-GT is involved in the development of a database of European gene and cell therapy organisations. Hosted on the ESGCT website, this online resource aims to promote awareness of organisations in the sector and foster collaborations between them.
Are you listed? View the database and submit your organisation's details HERE.
Tell us what you think! Your feedback will help us develop resources to best meet the needs of the European gene and cell therapy community. Complete the survey HERE and enter a prize draw where you could win up to a 50% discount on registration for the next ESGCT Annual Congress.
Our Sponsors
We would like to thank all the sponsors who are supporting our society.
