Happy Fall, Donately!

Below are some important updates from our team, as well as a few pieces of information we think you will be interested in. If you have any questions or feedback, always feel free to reply right to these messages.

Text Messaging

Over the summer months, we were busy adding features to the Donately dashboard. The biggest of which is the addition of text messaging! Available for our Team and Enterprise users, you can now set up a custom text engagement code and response right through your dashboard. Check out this help article to give you a guide on setting up text messaging, along with a few best practices.

PayPal

After emerging from Beta testing, PayPal is now ready to be offered as a payment method on any Donately form! With this new functionality, you'll be able to give your donors up to 3 different ways to give, which we hope will drive more donations for your cause.

You'll need to connect a PayPal account to Donately and enable it as a payment option from any form. If you're embedding your form, you'll also need to re-embed the code for PayPal to show as an option.

Other Updates

Referral Program

Did you know Donately has a referral program? For each account that you refer to Donately, you will receive 10% back of any collected platform fees for the first 12 months.

If you are interested in referring a new user to Donately, head to the new page in your Dashboard!

Integrations Service

Finally, we’re very excited to launch our latest service offering; integration building. Our team will work with you to connect your Donately or Stripe account to almost any app listed on the Zapier marketplace, giving you hours back from manual exporting and importing each week.

We''re excited to announce the Donately now integrates directly with Double the Donation! This integration will allow your organization to take advantage of a portion of the more than $4 billion (with a B!) of possible matches for donations that go unclaimed each year.
