It's pretty hard to pick your favorite trail when you're in the Snowmobile Capital of the World^®. But we've got one that'll be sure to make you want to start your engines. So take a look and plan your snowmobile getaway.

One of the most unique running events in the country, Journeys features a scenic half marathon, 13.1 mile power walk, 10K, and 5K. Make a weekend out of it with the finish line Party In the Park and all of the other fun there is to be had.

Northwoods residents have always known the power of a great view – especially when it means powering runners through 13.1 miles of terrain. That’s why – for over two decades now – the Journeys Half Marathon has taken runners on a scenic course that meanders through state forests and along multiple Eagle River area lakes.

With your help, Eagle River could become Kraft Hockeyville USA and receive a $150,000 arena upgrade and the opportunity to host an NHL preseason game.

It's the same SepTimber Ride you've always loved - just at your own pace and we encourage you to do this event with the entire family - kids included.?

As we are making sure our visitors and community stay healthy while still also enjoying the Eagle River area, we've shifted the SepTimber Ride event.

?

While still offering the 38 mile trail, 60K road and 100K road routes, we won't have formal water stations, tasting events or the picnic following the ride. Instead, ride registrants will have their SepTimber Ride Thank You packets mailed to them with an event shirt, wine and beer tasting passes, sponsor coupons and helpful ride information.? If you are unable to ride our trails this year, you are also welcome to bike your favorite area route or trail.

As always, proceeds from SepTimber Ride will go towards developing bike trails in eastern Vilas County, particularly the River Trail connecting Eagle River to St. Germain and the Heart of Vilas Trail System.
