ONTARIO HEALTH
CONNECTION
Welcome to the inaugural issue of Ontario Health Connection, our e-newsletter designed to help front-line health care providers and those who support them in Ontario's health care system.
On behalf of the entire team at Ontario Health, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone across the province's health care system for your hard work, dedication and responsiveness in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
For many, the pandemic has created tremendous upheaval-personal sacrifice, illness and, sadly, even loss. If you work on the front lines, it means putting your own health on the line in often-stressful situations that can-and do-change rapidly. But we are resilient, and collectively we are learning, innovating and adapting as we discover more about this virus and how to deal with it. We know the best work happens when we support each other.
Which brings me to our e-newsletter. Through Ontario Health Connection, you are just a click away from a tool you might use, a report you could read, a program you can access, a care model that may inspire you-be it for COVID-19 or other health-related issues. Our goal is to help you continue to deliver outstanding care to Ontarians.
Ontario Health is committed to working with our partners across the health care system to listen, to learn, to evolve-and to provide helpful resources as we all work collaboratively to ensure Ontarians receive integrated, high-quality health care services where and when they need them. As part of this commitment, we recently released our new Operating Model, which starts with addressing the needs of Ontarians thorough all of you - our partners, and is grounded in improving health outcomes, improving the experiences of those receiving and providing care, and achieving better value.
We hope this e-newsletter offers a quick and useful source to access information you may find helpful.
From all of us at Ontario Health, thank you for all that you do.
Matthew Anderson,
President and CEO
