ETL Global official partner of Wolters Kluwer awarding the best Czech Tax Advisor of the Year 2019

Already in February this year, the annual competition organized by Wolters Kluwer Czech Republic awarding the best tax specialists and personalities of the country in 2019 came to its festive finals for the 10th time.

ETL Global was again acting as one of the proud partners of the competition, with Robert Jurka of ETL Global Praha as Chairman of the jury and sponsoring two of the competition categories ranking tax consulting companies (excl. Big4) by their size as represented by total revenues and number of employees.

In these two categories, KODAP, the strongest ETL Global Member in the Czech Republic, made it to place 7 (number of employees) and place 8 (revenues) this year, thereby settling in among the Next Ten of the country.

ETL Global Spain is number 6 in the market and among the fastest growing professional services firms in 2019

The Spanish business newspapers Expansi?n and El Economista have published their annual Audit Rankings of the main professional service firms in Spain. 

For the first time, among medium-sized firms, ETL Global Spain has made it to the 6th position with a turnover of almost 96 million Euros and an increase of 46.6% compared to the previous year. The group has grown both organically and through the integration of new acquisitions and thereby, for another year, has consolidated its position as a benchmark firm in Spain.

The Spanish audit firms overall have created more than 2,000 jobs, representing a growth of 7.2% in 2019 - An upward trend that has been interrupted by the COVID-19 crisis but which will serve to gain flexibility due to the bet for teleworking.

COVID-19: Current Situation 

The coronavirus (COVID-19) has taken the world hostage and puts every member of our generation in a situation which we fortunately never had to endure before. In difficult times like these we, as ETL Global, act and communicate with the utmost considerateness in order to reduce the impact of the virus on the health and business of our clients, colleagues and business partners. We advise everybody within ETL Global to:

• Distribute and follow the hygienic rules as recommended by the WHO,
• Avoid personal contacts with clients, colleagues and business partners wherever possible,
• Use modern means of communication such as telephone calls, e-mails, chats, video conferencing or virtual meeting rooms,
• Cancel or postpone business related travel plans,
• Show flexibility for the needs of others (i.e. regarding childcare) wherever necessary. 

All experts agree that the current situation will not be a matter of days but that the corona virus might keep us occupied for at least a couple of weeks, if not months. It will be tough, but we will proceed and we are certain that we will learn a lot, whether to cope with the consequences of the virus or to improve processes and structures for the time after we have vanquished the virus.

ETL Global breaks into the top 10 of the Legal Ranking published by Expansi?n

As every year, the Spanish business newspaper Expansi?n has published its ranking of law firms in Spain.

This year, the legal arm of ETL Global was placed among the top 10 in terms of turnover, reaching the eighth place. The turnover of the past year 2019 exceeded 80 million euros, registering a growth of over 33%, making it the firm that grew the most compared to the preceding year and consolidating its position in the Spanish market.

Besides, the ETL Global group placed second in the ranking on the increment in the number of professionals, with a 15% increase in their headcount.

We are happy and proud to see ETL Global Spain climb positions in Expansi?n's Legal Ranking which, without a doubt, recognizes the hard work of the group and the individual offices and professionals behind it.

KODAP ranked No. 1 Bookkeeping Company 2020 in the Czech Republic

ETL GLOBAL is proud to announce, that KODAP Group, ETL GLOBAL Member in the Czech Republic, was ranked No. 1 in the award "Bookkeeping company of the year 2020". 

This prize is assigned every year by the Czech Union of Accountants, Czech Chamber of Certified Accountants and in cooperation with the publishing house Wolters Kluwer Czech Republic. It was the first time for KODAP Group to participate in this competition.

In this year's survey of tax advisory companies, ETL Audyt Sp. z o.o. advanced from 12th to 11th position in terms of the number of tax advisors and other tax advisory professionals. In addition, ETL won in the regional ranking and, with its 18 tax advisors, has been ranked as the largest tax advisory company in Pomerania.

ETL GLOBAL in the IAB 2020 Country Reports on the Netherlands, Germany and Spain

The year 2020 is slowly coming to an end and ETL GLOBAL would like to take the opportunity to share great news on the Netherlands, Germany and Spain:

In their survey on the Dutch and German market published in the November 2020 issue, the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) ranked ETL GLOBAL Netherlands in place 16 by turnover and place 15 by number of employees. For Germany, the network was ranked in place 5, confirming ETL's market position as determined by other publishing houses.

In their latest issue of December 2020, the IAB ranked ETL GLOBAL Spain in place 6 in terms of turnover, as well as number of employees, again confirming its market position according to other surveys (see earlier postings in this newsletter section). 

The ETL GLOBAL Members of the Netherlands, Germany and Spain delivered remarkable growth rates in their domestic markets. We hereby convey a very warm thank you to all partners and employees for their commitment and hard work leading to this great success - congratulations!
