THE 2020 EVENT MOBILITY SEASON HAS BEEN A MASSIVE CHALLENGE

How Covid 19 is threatening the future of Event Mobility.

National lockdown in late March meant Event Mobility faced a blitz of cancellations. Meanwhile the charity responded to all enquiries, as all of the assets; vehicles and scooters were mothballed.

This year as the nation has adjusted, Event Mobility has only been able to attend 9 events where we would normally cover 100+ and would have helped more than 8,000 people enjoy days out.

Event Mobility is still here but reserves are being drained.

No events - means - no donations - means - no income

The Trustees and staff are determined to try to hold on and keep supporting those with mobility issues, but survival is going to be difficult.

This is the first time that the charity has been forced to make a general appeal; there is no option, this is where you can help please.....

Please support Event Mobility keeping people mobile for a 23rd year and allow us to continue supporting you and everyone who needs us?

We are delighted to advise that we have some upcoming events

We are delighted to advise that we will be providing our services at The Garden Show at Loseley Park next week. This show is held from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th July. After that we will be at the Newark International Antiques Fair on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th August.

Coronavirus (COVID19) update

As you will know, due to the COVID19 outbreak, the majority of shows on the Event Mobility website have either been cancelled or postponed for 2020.

Event Mobility rely completely on the kind donations from our users, in fact all monies we receive go to providing our services from purchasing new equipment such as mobility scooters and batteries to transportation costs. 2020 was on course for our biggest year yet with the most events attended! It will now, quite possibly be our worse as we find ourselves in the very frightening situation that those donations have stopped.

If you have an advance booking we would deeply appreciate it if you were prepared to offer this as a donation. We have been providing mobility scooters & wheelchairs for 22 years, but there is now a very real risk that without help we will not make it through to next year. If you would prefer to have your donation refunded, please email us and we will issue a refund as per our terms.

Thank you to everyone for your kind messages of support - you are wonderful, and we look forward to hopefully seeing you again as soon as possible.
