Creativity and flexibility is more important than ever. Therefore we have developed an adjustable wave master carrier set especially for our motorised curtains tracks: FMS®, DS-XL® LED and MRS®.

With these new master carriers you can simply determine the correct height on location yourself so that the wave curtains always hang perfectly! The new master carrier set is suitable for our Easyflex tape and is adjustable in 3 heights. Especially for the FMS® track the set includes a new return pulley in which the wave fold now runs evenly until the end of the pulley. This ensures that the curtain follows the perfect wave pleat from start to finish. And, of course, it is suitable for both center draw curtains and one way draw curtains. The set is available in the colours white and black.

Last month, our highly valued R&D colleague Frans Overmars retired after 34 years at Forest. He was at the origin of the iconic KS® track system. With his creative mind, he has contributed greatly to innovations in all our window decoration hardware solutions, offering people a smooth and safe view on the world. We would like to thank Frans for all those wonderful years and wish him a beautiful new phase in his life together with his family!

We want to share an update with you regarding how we’re moving forward through these uncertain times. The health of our employees, customers and logistic partners is our highest priority.

We want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe during these trying times. We are maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and ensuring our people only report for work if they are fit and healthy. Forest stimulates people to work from home if possible and with pain in our hearts we have to postpone client visits.

Despite the continued spread of the coronavirus, we want to let you know that we continue to operate as usual. Our stock is more than sufficient and our opening times from Monday until Friday are still from 8 am until 5 pm (CET).

Forest Group is a well-known producer of high quality drapery hardware systems. The branded products and its services are awarded worldwide with an excellent reputation. Forest’s international market share is growing rapidly and apparently this success is reason for some competitors to copy the systems and offering them as original Forest products. The consumer is in this case a victim who unintentionally purchases counterfeit products.

Forest will always take appropriate measures towards competitors who are carrying on this prohibited selling behavior, but we are doing more.

Support material
In order to support the Forest distributors by drawing attention to this unlikely and confusing market situation a special visual is developed showing the Forest original products and the fake ones. This visual can be added to the clients website. By doing so the market will be informed about the product differences and learn that the Forest Distributor supplies only the Forest original products.



The Forest distributor who does include this visual in its website will receive the Forest Authorized Distributor Certificate.

We also will come up with more supportive communication tools in a short time.

From this summer, our bestselling Forest Shuttle® system will also be available in a wireless, battery powered version. The Shuttle® iOn is perfect for areas without nearby power points.

An extensive period of research, development and endurance testing on countless of track set-ups has resulted in the launch of the Forest Shuttle® iOn. The Shuttle® iOn’s motor is fitted with an internal, removable heavy duty battery pack. Depending on the track size and curtain weight, the battery only needs to be charged 2 to 3 times a year.

You can expect the same unique functionalities as that of the wired Shuttle L, like Touch Impulse technology. The motor has an integrated Multi RF receiver, allowing for operation using any Forest remote control option. The Shuttle iOn can be used in combination with curved rails, which is unique in the market. It fits all Forest motorized track systems, like the FMS system, FMS Plus recess system, MRS motorized rod system and also the DS-XL motorized track systems.

Just before the Covid-19 virus took over the world the Franciscus Vlietland Hospital in Schiedam, Netherlands, has been equipped with our round Medical Track System.

It was a very special assignment because we had to bend the track into a cloverleaf shape for this hospital. We want to show our deepest respect for the tremendous efforts that the healthcare sector has made and still does.

Within our wide range of curtain rail systems we offer three types of medical track systems; standard, straight and round. The Medical Track System (MTS) is ideal for hospitals and care institutions because they can be installed in accordance with NEN-3134.

For example, the separation rails can be used to separate hospital beds or observation rooms in any healthcare environment where privacy is essential. For a proper hygiene the topside of the track can be covered with a flexible dust strip. The separation track can be bent into any desired shape.
