Go Ape is open at 29 of our locations with over 70 adventures. By the end of July all of our sites and activities will be open and we are taking bookings for them all.

TO OUR GO APE TRIBE,

The COVID-19 pandemic has undoubtedly caused each one of us to feel unsettled and perhaps even afraid. It is natural to be concerned about the wellbeing of our loved ones as well as ourselves, in terms of our physical and mental health.

Go Ape locations across the country remain open. The great outdoors remains a healthy place to escape, have fun and be active. The government has reiterated the importance of exercise.

Please be assured that as always, the safety and wellbeing of our Tribe is a top priority. That goes for you, our customers, as well as our staff. We are carefully monitoring the daily updates from the government, and to that end we have implemented the following procedures at each of our locations:

1. Observing social distances: In line with the latest government advice on social distancing, each site manager is managing capacity to space guests out during briefings and on our courses, to enable everyone to stay 2m apart from each other, in line with the latest guidance.

2. Cleaning: Each location has reviewed cleaning procedures and implemented additional cleaning measures in and around the cabin on places where contact is made with staff and customers, e.g. surfaces, iPad screens, door handles.

3. Toilet and handwashing facilities: We have facilities at each site and these are clearly signposted, however please ask a member of our Tribe to point them out if you are unable to find them. As per government advice, we are advising staff and customers to thoroughly and regularly wash their hands (for at least 20 seconds) and have placed additional signage at sites encouraging this behaviour.

4. Sickness: We have communicated the current government guidelines to all staff and have asked them to stay home if they or a member of their household are displaying any of the COVID-19 symptoms. This included sharing this video with staff to help them understand and identify the symptoms of COVID-19.

5. School visits: School visits are continuing at this time and we are asking our learning providers to follow the government's latest advice on social distancing. If you are a learning provider and you have any questions or concerns, you can contact our schools team on 01284 771043.

6. Guidelines: We closely monitor government guidance and are fully compliant with their latest recommendations.

Please help us by following government recommendations. If you, or a member of your household, have COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home for your health and the safety of others. For the latest government updates regarding coronavirus, we encourage you to visit the COVID-19 page on the NHS website.
