Plan your exchanges with the new Reverse Search

The feature that many of you have been waiting for is finally here!

Finding an exchange will finally be easier as you can directly find Members interested in coming to your region, city or country. If you haven’t done so already, it’s now time to update your preferred destinations and play with the reverse search options!  

Our objective: to help you to facilitate your exchanges

We have updated, improved and implemented some features such as the calendar, the reply-to feature, and the polygons to make it as easy as possible for you to find the perfect fit. More recently, we have been taking into account your feedback, and so, among other things, we changed the name of the reciprocal period in the calendar as 80% of you thought “reciprocal” was better than “simultaneous”.

No more-pay-per-night option: let’s unite our engaged and committed community

HomeExchange is an engaged and dedicated community of Members sharing values of hospitality and generosity, and we want it to stay this way!

We have noticed that the Essential option created some misunderstandings on the use of HomeExchange as it makes it similar to hotel services and short-term rentals, which are not in line with the HomeExchange experience. That’s why we took the decision to remove the pay-per-night option. So from December 2nd forward, you will be able to use your GuestPoints only with the annual membership.

Hey Brian, you know that you can still look for an exchange, right? Your home is still visible to other Members and you can still receive and send out inquiries. Don’t forget your GuestPoints! Your dream trip can still be out there!

An annual membership is required to complete the finalization of the exchange and be eligible for HomeExchange service coverage.
