• Multiple individual tickets will be issued upon the purchase of the package instead of single ticket (e.g. 10 individual tickets will be issued for "Table of 10").
• If asking additional questions "Per Ticket", you will be able to collect information for each attendee for packages (e.g. names, dietary requirements).

One thing we get asked often is whether there is a way to create name badges easily using the data from the Attendees Report. We scoured the web and found an easy solution, with the help of Word and Excel''s mail merging feature.

As 2020 comes to a close, we wanted to take this time to reflect and wish you well over the Christmas break. This year the whole world has been confronted with unparalleled challenges and the events industry has been hit particularly hard. We want to take the opportunity to thank YOU, our valued event creators, for finding innovative ways to curate meaningful and impactful experiences for attendees, despite the immense challenges. Everyone at Humanitix has done their absolute best this year to support all of you through this incredibly stressful time and we thank you from the bottom of our heart for continuing to work with us.

A big thank you also needs to go to all the feedback you have given us throughout the year which has helped our platform continue to get better and better in supporting you with your events. This feedback is our life blood for ensuring that you receive the best tools to make your events a success, and ultimately achieving our social impact through the education of disadvantaged kids. Keep it coming!

Although this year has not been as big as we anticipated, we are excited to announce that we still managed to give over $185,000 in funding to our education projects since January! This is all thanks to you, our amazing event creators, that continued to use Humanitix and innovate throughout the year. 

It has been inspirational to watch so many of you find ways to connect with your audiences under tough conditions and we are insanely excited to see live events come back strong in 2021. We want to do everything we can to support you on this journey as live events return and can't wait to see more packed venues with happy faces and connected souls once more. 

This year, the importance of shared experiences in our lives has been particularly pertinent. Why not allow your community to give unforgettable experiences to their loved ones this holiday season by offering gift cards for your event(s)? You can effortlessly create a stylised gift card page and sell gift cards to your chosen value on Humanitix.

Keep your whole team in the loop! We've updated the way you set event alerts so you can easily control who receives notifications including attendee enquiries, payouts, and new orders. Perhaps one inbox needs to be across enquiries while the finance department gets pinged for every payout? You can set this up, your way.

• Gives attendees access to the event directly through their digital ticket, which means no more last minute send outs of video conferencing links
• Allows only one user to access the online event at one time to prevent sharing of the video conference link to non-ticket purchasers
• Controls when certain content becomes available
• Provides resources to supplement your event with options to limit access

• Follow the advice and directions of government agencies - they make us all safer in the long run.
• Consider reducing the size of your event. For example, instead of having a conference main stage, have several smaller rooms or venues set up with a live stream. This is also a great way to reach people in multiple locations.
• Did you know that soap doesn't just wash away the virus, it disables it? According to UNSW Professor of Chemistry Pall Thordarson, soap is the most efficient way of killing viruses. Hand sanitiser is a good alternative where soap isn't available but is less effective, so ensure adequate hand washing stations at your venues.
• Don't penalise guests who feel ill. Consider offering full refunds to guests who cannot attend your event because of illness, so that they're encouraged to stay home. Your other guests will appreciate this also.

Despite the impact on the event industry, Humanitix has seen engagement build up with its socially conscious business model, as well as the tools provided for hosting online events.

We've seen event organisers exercising their discretion and empathy during these difficult times by offering a range of ticket prices to allow attendees to 'Pay What You Can'. With our new 'Flexible Pricing' tickets, this is even easier to do - you can now allow attendees to choose how much to pay for the same ticket type. For example, you could have free or low prices for 'Unwaged', as well as higher prices for 'Pay it forward' tickets or tickets including an additional donation component for those wanting to support your events and business.
