Every professional salesperson knows that trust is necessary for a buyer to purchase anything from you. In the past, the formula for building trust was:

1. Build a relationship through face-to-face interaction
2. Develop Trust
3. Learn what the buyer needed
4. Sell the Buyer an answer to their problem

Now this formula was very effective when you were able to meet your buyer face-to-face. As we all know, face-to-face interaction helps develop shared understandings and, from there, a certain level of relationship and trust.
