This gorgeous wine is from Rider Cellars, a tiny boutique winery run by Colby and Kristen Rider, who like so many left the hectic life in the city to pursue their dream in the country. They bought a vineyard in Selah, Washington planted back in 2000 and are now both farmers and winemakers.

While Tempranillo (Temp-ran-ee-oh!) is by far the most popular red grape of Spain, there''s very little of it planted here in Washington. Those who love Spanish reds, especially Rioja, should check this delicious wine out.

White it''s definitely a New World version of this varietal, with less tannin and edge than most of those from Spain, this ultimately also makes the wine fun to drink now, with or without food, with notes of cola, cocoa, and bright cherry and a smooth, soft, silky finish.

This wine score 90 Points in $25-$35 Category with our new Wine Panel, where everything is tasted blind by a team of wine professionals. With only 84 cases produced, you won''t see it in any stores, and after it''s recent score it''s going fast.
