Spending the majority of his career capturing his native Los Angeles, Anthony Hernandezhas devoted his time since the 1970s to building an eclectic body of work that ranges from street photography to images of the built environment and urban decay. During this difficult time, the safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority. As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak evolves, we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure this. We are closely monitoring updates in order to act quickly and following advice from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO).
 

To help clients during this time, The Icon will be offering free USPS shipping on film & print services from orders placed online and in the lab. ($10 minimum order).
 

To stay safe, if you do not want to pick up your film or prints from the lab, please let us know at the time of placing the order at the lab if you would like your order to be shipped.
 

For online orders, check the 'Please ship my order to me' box when placing an order to get free shipping. Free shipping via US Mail will be available on all online orders beginning March 16th, 2020 through April 30th, 2020. Please give detailed shipping instructions on all online orders.
 

In addition to this, we are taking further precautions by insisting that as long as our doors remain open our staff are following the strictest of guidelines for their safety and yours. We are vigilant when it comes to the hygiene of our lab. We urge our staff to keep all common areas and work areas disinfected at all times, and we ask you, our customers, to be vigilant as well when visiting us.

Dear Valued Customers,
 

We are happy to announce that The Icon has undergone a deep cleaning process and we will have a soft reopening Monday, April 27th, 2020. Our opening hours will be Monday - Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Please note that we will be processing online orders and orders dropped off at our drop-off box located in our back alley ONLY. There will be no walk-in business as we continue to abide by the state's shelter in place rules through May 15th. Our front door will be closed. Please read below for shipping and pick up information.

For all online and contactless drop-off orders, we will ship your order back to you via USPS for free through the end of June 2020, as we continue to practice social distancing.

Turnaround times may be extended due to limited hours of operation.

Please note: if you are dropping off film, ALL ORDERS MUST BE COMPLETED AND PAID FOR ONLINE, WITH A COPY OF RECEIPT ENCLOSED WITH YOUR DROP OFF ORDER.

All print orders must be completed online.

For emergency purposes, if you need to pick up your film in person, an appointment must be made at icon@iconla.com or by calling (323) 933-1666. Film pickups will be contactless and done by our back alley drop off door, between the hours of 2 pm - 4.30 pm only!

If dropping off film for printing or scanning the frames have to be tagged/numbered ahead of time as clients will not have access to the premises.

Clients with film at the lab can email us with clear information for scanning or printing and will be taken care of.

We will continue to closely follow the COVID-19 situation as it continues to develop. Please check our website for current updates as they become available.
