The reopening of Jamaica's borders is excellent news for us all. It brings business and tourism back to Jamaica for the hotels, local transportation, restaurants, attractions and more. And best of all, it has been done with care and consideration for your health and wellbeing.

As such, we are super excited to share that Jamaica Inn has reopened its doors effective today, Friday, July 31, 2020. Though your experience may be a little different since you last visited (we now have new health and safety protocols put in place) you can rest assured you will still be treated to the award-winning service and first-class facilities for which we have become known. Greetings from Jamaica’s beautiful North Coast. As you would have heard, with great anticipation, Jamaica Inn recently reopened with new protocols in place and we are thrilled that guests are once again enjoying a relaxing time at our famous property. We certainly have missed seeing you, but we did get regular visits from our sea turtle friends while we were closed. We're even running an auction where you can have the chance to name a tagged mother turtle!

Have you seen our new website? This is just one of the many improvements we made while working on our new policies and procedures. Our afternoon high tea has also been elevated to an all-new fabulous experience, for which there will now be a nominal charge. This is due to be implemented on September 1st. Reservation requirements for breakfast and dinner is another such enhancement.

It's the small things that make all the difference and is one of the reasons we were recently named the Best of the Best by TripAdvisor. You were another so we thank you sincerely.

From the bottom of our hearts, the Jamaica Inn family wishes to thank you all for the outpouring of love and condolences we have received since the news of the passing of our beloved Teddy on March 2nd.

To celebrate his life, the Jamaica Inn Foundation is setting up a scholarship in his name — a fund dedicated to helping team member families provide the necessary skills, training and education for their children who wish to pursue a career in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

These truly have been most uncertain times and in taking an abundance of caution, the Morrow’s and our Execs have carefully made the difficult decision to close the Inn for the month of April. The safety of our treasured staff and wonderful guests are paramount to us and central to this action. The time will be used wisely for our annual resort improvements and refurbishment so we can be in tip top shape when we reopen on May 1, 2020. We hope by then the travel world would have returned to some level of normalcy.

In order to distract you for a moment from the chaos that surrounds us, we have created several added-value risk-free booking offers for when we are all freed from our social distancing and ready to travel again.
