Here are some tips to get you started and inspired with your portfolio building...

Initially, add lots of articles

Adding articles is pretty painless, simply select a file or enter a URL. You can always delete articles later, but it''s really useful for working out how your site will look and work by adding 10-20 articles.

Experiment with structure

Play around with different pages and consider different layouts. Do you want a page for each of the main publications you''ve written for? Or do you want a page for each topic you cover? Read our blog on how to structure your portfolio for more ideas.

Don''t forget about the details

Think about how your profile image, background image or bio text portrays you. Double check everything for typos. Think about how your articles are ordered. Read our blog on choosing images for your site.
