Debbie Mackenzie
Slow Living
Virtual Gallery Exhibition - Opening 18th July 2020
Manyung Gallery Malvern is proud to present Debbie Mackenzie''s newest exhibition, ''Slow Living''
"I feel most content, calm and complete in the natural world, in particular places where the sky is big and the land is vast. I am in awe of how beautiful the world is, its power and then more conversely, how insignificant we are. The older I get, the more important this seems to be. In an effort to equalise all the technology and the frenetics technology brings, I find myself needing and wanting to express my desire for what I love in the landscape and the comfort I find there."
This exhibition presents 15 stunning new works, which are able to be viewed via the link below.
Contact-free white glove delivery of works for in-home viewing is available upon request (conditions apply).
As always, we have an extensive waitlist for Debbie''s artworks, so be sure to get in touch via email to jack@manyunggallery.com.au so we can assist in securing any pieces now or in the future.
Exhibition continues until 4th August, 2020.

Manyung Gallery Group is proud to present Conchita Carambano''s newest exhibition, ''Unique Elegance''
"I'm content in the realisation that everyone that sees one of my works, do so through different interpretations, thus giving it a new 'feeling' to the original that I intended. Manyung Gallery is proud to present a virtual exhibition of new works by Ralf Kempken. ''Pattern Recognition'' explores the abstract patternwork found in shadows and reflections in the inner city streets, parks and gardens of Melbourne. ?
The work draws on current and historical imagery and sometimes combines the two. In altering these familiar vistas to create a "perfect Melbourne" - Kempken reminds us that we have a choice in how we look at the world around us.
''Pattern Recognition'' can now be enjoyed with a glass of bubbles from your couch, as a high-resolution virtual exhibition.

TAX DEDUCTIONS FOR ART BY JUNE 30
Did you know that you can claim artwork as part of your business tax return?
The ATO considers artworks as an investment and a depreciating asset, meaning businesses can take advantage of the instant write-off measure with art purchases, as long as the artwork is tangible, easy to move and is purchased with the intent of being displayed on business premises.
Due to COVID-19, the deduction threshold has recently been changed from $30,000 to $150,000. Eligible businesses and thresholds will vary depending on the date the asset was purchased, so make sure to keep receipts and head to the ATO website for more information.
We recommend speaking with your accountant before making any decisions relating to major capital investments in your business.

PETE GROVES & ANNIE GLASS
''TREES AND COWS''
____________________________________________
VIRTUAL EXHIBITION LAUNCHING ON THURSDAY APRIL 9TH
We are so excited to present our very first online virtual exhibition, featuring brand new art from Pete Groves and Annie Glass!
A successful artist known for creating murals, book covers and wine labels over the years, Pete Groves'' bold and colourful paintings are his way of appreciating and celebrating a memory, and creating an atmosphere where realism exists with fantasy.
"I like creating a world where harmony exists between nature and the man-made; where there''s often a contrast between the serenity of a painting and the anxiety of the modern world"
Annie Glass has been working as a wire sculptor for over 15 years, taking up the medium after discovering how well she was able to portray movement in her art from using wire. There is often elements of humour and nostalgia present in her work that represent simple, everyday moments that the average person enjoys.
Annie and Pete''s works bring a much needed sense of joy in these times of uncertainty, and together their collection of new works comment on the beauty and harmony of nature and other observations of everyday life, creating art that we can easily identify with.
Our Virtual Exhibitions present the perfect opportunity for you to view beautiful art from the comfort of your own home. Grab a cup of tea or a glass of wine, some nibbles, and sit back and explore a 360 degree virtual tour of the exhibition! Art has no limits, even at times of social distancing!
The 360 Virtual Tour of the exhibition will be going live at 12pm on Thursday April 9th.

Sarah Boulton Mosaic Nature
Virtual Gallery Show - Opening 1st April 2020
Manyung Gallery Malvern is proud to present an exhibition of new works by renowned and highly collectable emerging artist Sarah Boulton. ?
"I am drawn to the natural environment. My home, in the bushland of Central Victoria, is a powerful influence. The trees and wildflowers, creeks, hills, rocks and animals all find their way into my work and seasonal changes drive new explorations, particularly the abundance and vibrancy of Spring.
I like my paintings to be beautiful, for people to find beauty in them and for them to elicit a personal, emotional response. The fact that this response may be different to the feelings I had creating the work excites me. It's one of the joys of the abstract form, when a painting has the ability to take a viewer on a journey entirely their own." - Sarah Boulton
This exhibition is made up of 11 breathtaking new works. Please follow the link below to our virtual gallery to view the show.
Contact-free white glove delivery of works for in-home viewing is available upon request (conditions apply).
