We wish to update our Mud Hero Community in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. We all face a herculean challenge in the coming weeks and our individual efforts in April will determine our collective future and our ability to return to a new normal in Canada. We are closely following the Federal and Provincial authorities and we support these necessary actions.
As Canada's largest Obstacle Course Series with over 500,000 participants since our inception in 2011, we need your support and patience to ensure we are there for you when permitted by authorities. Organizing a national race series requires months of preparation with significant prepaid expenses. We work closely with venues, hotels, local businesses, sponsors, volunteer groups, charity partners, medical staff, transportation & logistic partners, incentive and merchandise suppliers, and we employ full time, seasonal and temporary staff that make our races memorable. Mud Hero not only delivers an exceptional experience for our participants but also a significant economic boost to our host communities. Everyone involved in the delivery process depends on, and asks for, your commitment in these uncertain times.
We remain confident that a determined Canada will deal with this exceptional crisis and emerge victorious. We look forward to that day and the day in the near future that we can celebrate this victory together.
Currently we are planning to deliver our 2020 race season. We have already taken action to reschedule early season races to enable us to start our season in mid-July. We are transferring all registrations to these new dates. If an event cannot happen in 2020 we will reschedule the race for 2021 and your registration will be automatically converted to the 2021 date.
We are in this together and need your continued support to ensure that we can successfully be there for you when it is safe to do so.
