Lough Key Forest and Activity Park is open for visitors and has an amazing array of outdoor activities for families of all ages to enjoy throughout the year. This summer they are bringing the indoors to the great outdoors to add to the safe family fun.
Discover all they have to offer including:
- The 'Lough Key Experience' - where you can walk through 200-year-old servant tunnels, climb the Moylurg Viewing Tower (lift not accessible at present) and stroll along the Tree Canopy Walk which rises 10 metres above ground and stretches for 300 metres Tickets to the experience can be bought safely on the day from the on-site kiosk by credit/debit card or cash.
- New outdoor information booth, supplying walking trail maps, kids fun fact maps, food for the ducks, souvenirs and other outdoor essentials (Suncream, hats, umbrellas, ponchos etc.)
- The Lough Key Food Truck, serves pizza, sandwiches, seasonal salad, soups, snacks and beverages.
- The
colourful Lough Key Coffee Cart serves Puro organic coffee, teas, minerals, snacks and has daily homemade baked treats!
- The Lough Key Ice Pop Van, serves a wide variety of DaleFarm ice pops.
- The new outdoor terrace with stunning lakeside views is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your food and drinks.
- BBQ picnic benches where you can set up and cook your own food.
- Zipit Forest Experience is open but must be booked in advance.
- Hire electric bikes, from regular adult size to kids bikes, you can also book tandem and double buggy trailer attachments! Bikes and attachments need to be reserved in advance of your visit.
