The National Cherry Blossom Festival commemorates the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington, DC, and celebrates the enduring friendship between the people of the United States and Japan. Support from caring community members like you help make the Festival possible, keeping events and experiences primarily free and open to the public. Plus, 10% of your donation is given to the Cherry Tree Endowment which provides the National Park Service the critical funds needed to care for the iconic trees.

We are excited to share with you our vision for maintaining Festival traditions this coming spring -- while re-imagining and re-presenting programming to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved is our first priority. 2021 Collectible Artwork Revealed

The 2021 Official Artwork, created by award-winning artist Patrick Guyton of Southern California was unveiled by the artist himself. The official poster is available for order today and more items featuring the artwork will be added to the Festival's online store over the next few weeks.
