Management Withdraws Parking Proposal Amid RN Outrage!

After a successful picket, management has withdrawn proposals that sought to eliminate RN parking rights.

RNs continue to face barriers when applying for Workers Compensation.

While management withdrew its proposals that attempted to curb parking and vacation rights, they still have not agreed to our pandemic proposals that would provide additional protection to RNs including longer periods of paid administrative leave for those infected with COVID-19.

RNs are reporting that they are receiving little guidance from management when they test positive for COVID-19. NNOC fought to change state laws so that RNs would be eligible for workers compensation if they work within healthcare and contract COVID-19.

If you were infected and received little to no help from management please reach out to your labor representative and your Cook County Commissioner. We all have an obligation to hold management accountable. Get involved and share your story!
