This October half-term, the Nene Park Autumn Festival returns to bring an exciting number of activities and events for all the family to enjoy.

The festival will be running from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 1 November, with daily Pay and Play watersports and cycle hire operating at Nene Outdoors, alongside autumnal art and crafts and outdoor adventure events. Find out more about what's on offer below, we hope to see you soon!

The Fundraising Team at Nene Park Trust is excited to announce a new initiative to give you, our visitors, a way of holding onto a memory in the Park and sharing it with others - while also helping to support the work of the Trust. 

Ferry Meadows is a special place for the people of Peterborough, where experiences have been shared and memories made by our visitors over the years. We want to give you the chance to capture these moments in the Park and share them with others, helping to create something beautiful in the Park for all to reflect on and enjoy. 

With local artist, Jeni Cairns, we have created copper oak leaves to be engraved with a message of your choice and displayed on our beautiful oak sculptures, made from wood from our own Bluebell Wood and designed and carved by local craftsman Alistair Thompson. These sculptures have been sited in the Wildlife Garden in Ferry Meadows, a tranquil place to enjoy and discover the leaves.

Hello everyone

For wildlife lovers there's everything from bird feeders to insect houses, and from homeware gifts to beautiful brooches. You can browse from a range of binoculars online or instore - the ideal Christmas gift for outdoor enthusiasts to help them appreciate nature even more! Talk to our team to help you pick out the perfect pair.

For children there is a large range of wildlife and nature-based kits, games and soft toys as well as stocking fillers and Christmas books. 

It wouldn't be Christmas without some tasty treats, so you can try Norfolk-made Gnaw chocolate, biscuits, a range of preserves and there's a great range of locally brewed ales, gin and wines available too. We''ve also created our very own Nene Park hampers!

For pet lovers there are plenty of mugs, food bowls, candles and soaps as well as a range of toys, accessories and treats for your pooch.

For the green-minded, who are keen to do their bit for the environment, there's an Eco range of beauty and toiletry products, in fact a large number of our suppliers have very impressive sustainability credentials - check with our team for more information! 

There is also a beautiful range of Christmas cards and decorations, all with a wildlife theme and not forgetting the official Nene Park 2021 calendar, featuring the wonderful monthly photography competition winners from 2020.

Our Nene Outdoors vouchers are the ideal gift for friends and family who love to try something new! They can be redeemed against Pay & Play watersports activities and sailing courses on Gunwade Lake in the spring.

All proceeds from purchases in our shop go towards the maintenance of your beautiful Park. You can shop guilt-free knowing that your purchases are making a real difference!
