Our business and operations team already works virtually from Hawai''i to North Carolina, so you can expect the same great customer service you're used to.

Supporting those in need

As a community-focused small business, we remain committed to helping the brave men and women on the front lines of the Covid-19 response, as well as the workers behind the scenes making critically-needed PPE, so they can do their job safely.

We need your help

We''ve received hundreds of emails asking how you can support our manufacturing efforts - and now we need YOU! Authenticity50 is donating the sheeting fabric to make 100,000 masks but we need your help to raise funds to pay for the sewing of the masks. Standard Textile and their plant in Texas has stepped up to fabricate these medical masks for us, but they need to pay their workers and keep their factory running.

$130,000 - $1.30 per mask

We''re able to make one mask for $1.30. In order to support the workers and factory sewing 100,000 medical masks, we''ll need to raise $130,000. 100% of ALL proceeds will go towards manufacturing and distributing masks to critically hit areas nationwide.

We have been reading the same headlines as all of you-it's a scary time. However, our line of business gives us a unique view into how communities are coming together to battle this crisis in collective, innovative ways:

The good news

There are stories you''re not seeing. Good news behind the scenes. Currently, hundreds of manufacturers nationwide are mobilizing to make as much personal protective equipment (PPE) as possible. Some examples:

A pool cover manufacturer in Ohio is retooling their plant to make thousands of masks a day.
A plant in Texas is shifting from hotel decor to make more than 100,000 masks a week.
A company that sews linens for cruise ships and high-end hotels is retraining their 85 person staff to sew masks for hospital workers.
A weaver in Maine is using their looms to make fabric for PPE rather than blankets.

Flurry of activity

Manufacturing message boards have exploded with comments.
Fabric weavers and knitters, fabrication and sewing teams, elastic producers and thread manufacturers are all coming together to coordinate materials, capacity, and designs to join in the effort.

The other front line

Healthcare workers are working around the clock, risking their health and personal lives to provide necessary care. On the other front, local manufacturing workers are learning new skills and putting in long shifts and weekends to make the PPE that keeps them safe.

Business as (un)usual

Steph, I, and the Authenticity50 team have spent over a hundred hours in the past couple weeks pitching in. We''re donating fabric to make 100,000 masks and are partnering with manufacturers across the country to make it happen. Be sure to follow us on social media to stay updated on these initiatives.

Bedding takes a backseat

Our customer service crew is working hard to take care of your orders, but the rest of our team is pivoting to find ways to help. Our partner facilities are converting to make as much PPE as possible to head off a major shortage ahead. We are actively coordinating so that manufacturers can get the fabric, yarn and sewing capacity they need.
