Dear friends and family,
In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Oasis on Lake Travis is taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our guests and staff while we continue to provide the exceptional service and experience all of our guests have come to expect from us every day.
Our priority is serving and protecting our community. This has been at the center of our conversations every step of the way. With that in mind, we are making extra sanitation efforts a high priority.
Our staff is specially trained and continues to follow all necessary protocols and procedures to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff.
With the growing concern about the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United States, we have been closely following updates from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) in conjunction with Austin Public Health.
We understand you have concerns and we will continue to use all communications outlets to stay updated as we learn more about COVID-19.
It is critical that our community continue to heed Austin Public Health recommendations and take personal hygiene seriously. This will be the key to ensuring that this virus doesn’t spread.
The City of Austin and Travis County will be evaluating additional protections for the community based on these positive cases. At this time, they have not made any additional changes to current regulations around mass gatherings or other public health standards but will keep the public updated if this information changes.
APH is continuing to coordinate with our local, state and federal public health. We continue to urge everyone to help limit the spread of disease through proper hygiene practices:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cough or sneeze into your elbow or use a tissue to cover it, then throw the tissue in the trash.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
If you have symptoms of respiratory illness including cough, fever and shortness of breath, please contact your health care provider. It is important to call ahead before arriving at a clinic, urgent care or emergency department to avoid potential spread.
