Hi Evelyn
Easter is here, and although the coronavirus outbreak is still affecting homes around the country - and the world - there is no reason why we shouldn''t enjoy some Easter fun, frivolity - and of course, chocolate treats.
This is an incredibly difficult time for everyone, especially if you had trips or a holiday planned. But there are still plenty of things you can do to have fun this Easter. We''ve put together a few things that even the Easter Bunny would be proud of.
Window display
You may already have a rainbow picture in your window, so why not get your wee one to draw or paint Easter eggs to put in the window too? You could even have an Easter egg hunt by walking round the neighbourhood to see who else has put an egg in the window.
Egg and spoon race
To get the kids moving, why not have an indoor egg and spoon race? Just make sure you boil the eggs first! If you don't have any eggs, bouncy balls or even scrunched up bits of paper will do.
The Deputy First Minister''s Spring Maths Challenge is a great way to keep the kids entertained and help them with their maths at the same time.
You might not be able to visit family this Easter, but you and the little ones can still wish them a happy Easter by creating your very own Easter cards. Let your loved ones know how much you care during this difficult time.
You may not be able to take your kids on a day out, but the good news is many places are bringing the fun to you. From zoos to castles and landmarks around the world - there are many virtual tours on offer.
Home baking can be a really great way for all the family to have some fun together - so why not whip up some Easter treats? From chocolate nests to Easter biscuits, there are plenty of tasty recipes to test out.

Hi Evelyn
Right now, being a parent has never been tougher or felt more overwhelming. Please don't be hard on yourself when things don't go as you think they should. Nobody can be parent, teacher, chef, and employee of the month all at once!
Give yourself credit for the little things that do go right. Simply being there, playing, chatting, and having fun together when you can is what really matters.
And if you need us, we're here for you with tips, ideas and advice to help make this time a little bit easier.
Being there for your kids, means being there for yourself too. This is hard for everyone so try not to put too much pressure on yourself. And don't compare yourself to what you see on social media. Ups and downs are normal, so don't feel guilty, we all need five minutes peace now and again. We've put together some advice to help you look after your mental wellbeing just now.
Most people, especially kids, will be online more than ever - which isn't a bad thing. It lets them keep in touch with their friends, have fun and supports their learning. To keep them safe online, there are simple steps you can take such as setting up parental controls on their devices.
If your kids are bouncing off the walls, it's probably because they have lots of energy. Check out some ideas to get them moving at home.
Animal races: Run like a cheetah, jump like a frog, waddle like a penguin or slither like a snake! Take turns at choosing an animal and deciding the action that goes along with this.
Clean up race: Set a timer and see if your kids can tidy away all their toys before the timer goes off. Something to get their heart rates up, and give you a helping hand too. Win - win.
Dance, dance, dance: To lift everyone's mood, put your favourite music on and dance, dance, dance!
Kids might be acting up more at the moment from being stuck inside and not seeing their friends. This is a difficult time for them, and they might not be able to express how they are feeling. We have some advice on how you can talk to them about what's going on and how to look after their mental wellbeing too.
Let''s get through this together,

Hi Evelyn
This year has been tough and right now you might be feeling pretty fed up by it all. But as coronavirus rates start to rise, keeping to the current restrictions is more important than ever. The less often we meet people, the less chance there is of the virus spreading. By following restrictions, you''re helping protect your family, friends and community.
If you're not sure about what the latest restrictions are, check out our guide to coronavirus restrictions.
A runny nose can be just a runny nose, but make sure you know the symptoms to look out for with coronavirus.
These include a new persistent cough, a temperature and a change to your sense of smell and taste.

Wondering how to feed your family during coronavirus? We've got you covered!

Hi Evelyn
The coronavirus outbreak is having a huge impact on our daily lives. If you're one of the many families that are having to work out meal plans on a bit of a tighter budget than usual, this can make the current situation more stressful. That's why we've put together a page dedicated to filling tummies on a budget, which is filled with helpful advice to help you through this difficult period. We've also got help for those constant snack requests!
Kids can get a little fussy when it comes to eating certain foods. Most will eat something, but getting them to eat what you cook can be a different matter.
Children just love to copy everything their parents do, so they're more likely to eat if you're also eating with them.
Kids love to snack more than ever now they are home all the time, but that doesn't mean it has to be bad for them. We've put together some tasty snack ideas to give your little ones - such as plain yoghurt with frozen fruit - to keep them happy and healthy.
Although it may not always seem like it, most kids like routine. Avoid grazing throughout the day by trying to establish set times for meals. Our page on eating well at home has tips on how to structure your day.
If you have a little one that you're currently breastfeeding or formula feeding then you may have some concerns around this. However you feed your baby, we've put together some info and advice to reassure you.

Getting the kids to lend a hand in the kitchen won't just help you tick another thing off the 'to-do' list a little quicker - it will also keep the kids busy and happy!
They'll have fun helping you out and you'll get to watch them enjoy some delicious and healthy meals.

Playing helps your child make sense of the world.

Hi Evelyn
Every child has had big changes to deal with recently. From nurseries and schools closing, to missing out on time with grandparents and friends - it's been tough for them in lots of different ways. They might not fully understand what's going on. And the easing of restrictions might confuse them even more.
One of the best ways for children to make sense of the world around them is through play. You can help support them to do this. Playing lets them express themselves, adjust to new situations and most importantly have fun. It's also good for their health and happiness. It might even tire them out for bedtime and help them sleep!
You can help by giving them plenty of opportunities to play. Playing indoors is great, and playing outdoors opens up a whole new world of games.
As long as you're following the most up-to-date guidance on coronavirus, there is no reason why they can't play outside as much as they used to.
Here are some of the fun ways you can play outside this summer.
Playing outdoors is one of the best ways to have fun with friends and family that they have missed over these last few months.
Spending time with people outside is a safer way to see people, just be aware of current advice on physical distancing.
One great play idea for kids to get creative is to let them make some chalk art when they're out and about. Let them express themselves with as many colours as you have and let them tell you how they feel.
Don't let the wet Scottish summer stop them from having fun outside. Pop on their wellies, raincoat and get out there! They'll love splashing in puddles as they skip down the street.
Handy printable pack of outdoor tip cards to help entertain all the family.
There is support out there if you're worried that your child has been anxious about what's been going on.
We have practical advice on what you can do to help support them just now.
