Dave Parker started Pelican in 1976 from the garage of his home in Torrance, CA. It was a humble beginning for a company that has expanded across the globe and now operates in 26 countries, employing nearly 1,500 people worldwide. One of the first products Dave invented for Pelican was a superior first aid kit for divers. The cases were rugged, durable, and built to keep the contents stored inside safely protected from water and dust.

In honor of him and the great impact he made, Pelican has produced a limited edition first aid kit to commemorate his achievements. Embellished with a brass plate etched with David H. Parker's name and dates of life - 1936 to 2020 - the kit is characterized by circa 1976 branding and contains a host of first aid supplies. The Commemorative PelicanT First Aid Kit is our way of paying tribute to the legacy of Dave Parker.
