Mahler''s Third Symphony is one of the most awe-inspiring works ever written - and it holds a special place in our hearts at the Philharmonia. 

This was the first piece our Principal Conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen conducted with us back in 1983, and he returns in this 2017 performance alongside mezzo soprano Michelle DeYoung.
