Rest assured, you can book with confidence, as refunds or exchanges are guaranteed in the event of extended lockdown restrictions. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Pleasance soon!

This summer, we should have been welcoming you to the Pleasance. However, for the first time in 36 years, the gates are locked and the Courtyard stands empty.

280 shows have been cancelled, over 1,000 performers have been affected, countless experiences have been lost. The consequences have been devastating, both on and off the stage.

To make sure the Pleasance and everyone we support can return in 2021, we need your help.

We are not-for-profit, a charity funded by our ticket sales, receiving no regular government subsidy. By donating the cost of a ticket from this year''s festival, you'll help make sure we can be there in the future.

The Pleasance exists to champion artists and develop bright ideas, to nurture talent and inspire new careers.

Therefore we pledge that 30% of everything we raise will go directly to emerging theatre-makers and comedians, with a dedicated fund to help debut shows reach Fringe 2021, supporting the next generation of performers. Whilst 70% will help us rebuild what has been lost, so that we can support a wide range of people from across the arts by re-establishing our facilities and resources.

We want to rebuild what is lost and invest once again. We want to bring artists back to the stage. We want to ensure the Edinburgh Festival Fringe remains the world's greatest theatrical showcase and training ground.

We''ve launched our own range of Lost Fringe charity merchandise!

Help us raise some much-needed funds to return to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2021, with a limited edition Lost Fringe T-shirt, hoodie or tote bag.

Designed by the Pleasance's resident illustrator, Paul Garner, each item serves as a memento of the Fringe that didn''t happen.

Profit from the sale of each item will go towards the fundraising campaign to help us reopen our gates next year, with 30% going directly to emerging theatre-makers and comedians.

The gates of the Courtyard might be closed this summer, but we''re already thinking ahead to 2021. And you can help us get there.

To mark what would have been the first official day of this year''s Fringe, we''re giving you the chance to win a pair of free tickets to every show at the Pleasance next August!

All you need to do is enter our Golden Ticket Raffle, as part of our Crowdfunder campaign.

Raffle tickets cost just ?5 each and there''s no limit to how many you can buy! Each raffle ticket purchased will directly help us ensure we can open the Courtyard gates again in 2021.

As well as free tickets to hundreds of shows, including our Opening Gala, one lucky winner will have their own dedicated member of our team to assist with reservations and recommendations, plus exclusive access to Brooke's Club for the duration of the festival.

Having been empty for nearly seven months, we''re incredibly excited to announce that Pleasance London will be re-opening in November, for a brand new season of live performances!

We''ve completely redesigned the Main House into socially distanced, cabaret-style seating and taken steps to ensure we comply with all government guidance.
