Kanye West And Kim Kardashian In A Bad Place As His Mood Slumps After Drake''s Album Outsells ''Donda''

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were in a great place just a few weeks ago with the music mogul telling friends that he was getting back with Kim.

However, after his disappointing album release and Kanye unfollowing Kim on social media, insiders tell Radar that the pair are in a bad place again.

"Kanye has been very honest about his mental health. When he is good well, everyone around him is doing well too. But when things turn dark, it also turns dark for everyone in his life. Kim had hoped that the pair could work together raising their children and helping each other promote their products, but she's also a realist and understands his mood swings," said our source.

 

Adding to the problems is Kanye's disappointing albums sales. "Drake's new album Certified Lover Boy sold over 600,000 copies in its first week, compared to 300,00 that Kanye sold. That isn't even close. 300,000 isn't bad, but it's not 600,000," adds a music insider.

To make matters worse, Kanye''s archenemyDrake''s latest album has 680.9 million individual streams for its tracks while Donda reached only 169.3 million streams in its second week.

"It is not unusual for an artist to crash and burn after release date. Everything is so focused on the work for weeks and weeks before the album is released and then suddenly it comes out and you have a lot of free time on your hands with nothing to do."

 

As of Monday, Kim is no longer one of the 12 accounts Kanye follows despite his estranged wife turning up at multiple listening events including putting on a wedding dress to be part of his spectacle. "Of course she feels a little used. Kanye was all over Kim when he wanted her to help sell his album. Now he has got what he wanted and doesn't need her anymore," a pal tells Radar.

"The good news is that this just confirms that Kim is making the right decision to move forward with the divorce. She can't live like this anymore. Walking on eggshells."
