Preventing Water Claims: Understanding the Value of Smart-Home Technology
LexisNexis Risk Solutions has released an insurance claims study revealing that inline water shutoff systems correlate with a decrease in water claims events by 96 percent. Underscoring the value of incorporating smart-home technology, the study found that those without such systems in place reported a 10 percent increase in water claims events during the same time period.
