We would like to wish you a Happy New Year.

It is time for our annual release of statutory register entries, and this year ScotlandsPeople has made almost 130,000 new images available online.

These records consist of 106,268 Scottish births in 1919, 37,111 marriages in 1944 and 63,821 deaths in 1969. You can now search for, view and save these records on the ScotlandsPeople website.

In this newsletter we highlight the stories of some of the individuals in these record sets.
