We are excited to announce a unified, AI-driven approach to monitoring and troubleshooting modern applications using SignalFx Microservices APM™. Today’s announcement includes a series of new enhancements that significantly reduce the mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to resolution (MTTR) for distributed microservices-based applications.

Today’s announcement includes:
- Real-Time, AI-Driven Application Alerts — Real-time, AI-driven problem detection on trace latency and error rate metrics to detect sudden spikes and historical anomalies in services and endpoints, significantly reducing MTTD and MTTR.
- Enhanced Service Maps — Dynamic service maps now include inferred services to provide a clearer and more accurate picture of service dependencies, which make it easier to visualize, correlate, and pinpoint potential issues in complex microservices environments.
- Database Query Metrics — New database query metrics, which provide the ability to monitor, alert, and more quickly investigate database-related issues.
- New Auto-Instrumentation Options — Kotlin is now available for auto-instrumentation, with Go and PHP coming soon, for a total of seven languages and hundreds of frameworks and libraries.
By unifying application monitoring and troubleshooting into a single solution, SignalFx Microservices APM provides tremendous value.
