Have you had your say in our national Covid-19 Workforce Survey?
2500 staff & employers from across our UK front-line NHS, & health & care workforce have told us how the pandemic has impacted their work.
Our survey is open until TOMORROW, June 30, & we need your voice, your reflections & insights to inform a vital report that we will share with you next month to identify the critical skills required to rebuild a sustainable sector for the future.
Preliminary findings to emerge from respondents so far highlight a significant:
- negative effect on staff mental health.
- increase in training needs due to large numbers of new staff & redeployed existing staff.
- loss of skills & talent as a result of Covid-19 related illness or death, early retirement or resignation due to increased pressure.
- increase in recruitment needs over the next 6 months due to a strain on services, particularly medical support workers, HCAs, Phlebotomists, Nurses/Nursing Associates, GPs, ICU, bank staff.
- key improvement needs post pandemic will be: empowering a remote workforce; creating positive workplace culture; engaging service users virtually; leadership development; accelerating agility & efficiency.
